Bridgewater Chocolate — Local services in West Hartford

I ordered gifts for friends and family after my sister-in-law told me that she and her staff did a tasting of a wide variety of chocolates, for client gifts, and Bridgewater chocolates, came in, hands down, as #1 out of all the choices. My gift receivers had so many nice compliments on the presentation, the variety in the assortment, and the taste. I sent one to my husband to see what he thought, and he was so excited about the variety and taste too! Although I love Bridgewater Chocolates deeply this last trip to the store left me disappointed. As a COVID-19 precaution they are only allowing 3 people in the store at a time, which I am apperceive of. However, after waiting in line to enter an employee came out and make me order outside and didn't allow me to enter. I didn't know exactly what I wanted and was really put on the spot. While the employee was in the store gathering my order other customers were allowed in the store to browse while I wanted out in the cold. I am a bit disappointed that I was singled out as unworthy to enter the store. I respect 6ft social distance guidelines and wear a facial covering. For the prices of the products I don't appreciate being forced to conduct my business on the sidewalk. Had I been allowed to enter the store like every other customers around me I can guarantee I would have purchased...

There is a great selection of chocolates here. Alex was very helpful the last time that I came into the store with selecting a variety box of individual chocolates. I like that they give the ability to pick out singles from the display. My personal favorite are the coconut marshmallows which were unfortunately sold out of individuals after Valentines day, but I got 2 packs of 3 of them that were prepackaged and impulsively ate them all in one sitting.
