To The Owner and Manager of Hillbilly Grill,

If your skin is brown or black, please Do Not Attempt to Eat Here! Hillbilly Grill is a Racist Restaurant! My son and his pale/caucasian brothers were visiting the area and attempted to go to this place to eat. When they arrived another Pale family arrived as well. The not so intelligent person at the door told my son and his brothers that they did not have any tables available and proceeded to tell the Pale family to come in and be seated at one of several tables that were available. Although my son and his brothers arrived there first, they were told to wait in their car. My son and his fraternity brother’s are intelligent young men and they recognized the blatant racism so they decided to go to a different restaurant to eat. This restaurant lives up to it name! Just add [racist, redneck, backwoods] hillbilly restaurant. To the owner: Why don’t you just post on a sign out in the front of your restaurant Pale People Only. You are disgusting and a disgrace to the human race. I am so thankful that my son and his brothers went to another restaurant because there is no telling what you would have done to their food. It is extremely important to expose your restaurant for your racist business practices. What do you get out of making brown or black person wait for a table? The tables in your restaurant are only available to pale people and not for those who have beautiful brown/black skin that God gave to them! I would tell you to think but I know that that concept eludes your staff and maybe you! Maybe this is a part of your business plan/practice. Do unto others as you would have them...

My wife and myself went there when they first opened, cause we were told how good it was. However, that wasn't the case for us . It was busy, took us over an hour to get seated, took another 30 minutes before our order was taken. When we finally got our food, both of us was extremely disappointed, the gravy was not good at all, the hash browns where practically raw, eggs was cooked too long, the coffee was just nasty. Least to say, we both was extremely disappointed and swore we wood never return. Well the other day, I decided to try them again. That was in itself a mistake, even though there was just a few individuals there, in my opinion, it took longer then it should have to get my order taken, and then for the food get prepared.. again the hash browns where practically raw, eggs wasn't cooked the way I wanted. The sausage didn't taste anything like sausage. So I gave it a 1. But wished I could have given it a negative number. Then I realized they have a moose mount on the wall. Don't they realize we don't have moose in this area. In my opinion, they need to replace that mount with a big white tail mount. So in ending this, I will not be...

Visited here on a Saturday morning with my son around 11:30am. This place is small they have indoor and outdoor seating and it was packed. We got lucky someone was leaving as we entered and we were seated promptly. My son got the biscuit, egg, sausage and cheese and I had the philly steak and cheese omlette, with grits and biscuit. Hands down the best biscuit I have had since moving here. The Philly steak omlette was really good. I left a star off as the napkin holder was really, really dusty which made me not even want to pickup the salt and pepper shaker, and on what was going to be my last bite of biscuit was a long piece of lint..Atleast I hope it was lint. Probably from whatever cloth or basket the biscuit was sitting in. They take cash or card. Next time I'll be sure to have cash. The menu is affordable. The coffee was a bit weak for my taste. Will visit again.

Food was delicious! Seating is difficult with a large family, we had 5. I highly recommend the cinnamon roll topping to the pancakes or waffles if thats a flavor you like. My eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly to order, no seasoning on them eggs/grits (personal pet peeve. They do provide salt and pepper on table) Biscuit was good but not the best, it tastes similar to Grands if thats something you like. :) I tried the pecan pancake and it wasnt my favorite, the pecans were a bit crunchy in some places and that threw it off imo. Overall loved the food. Dining experience was affordable and the service was excellent.

When I'm on a motorcycle trip I always try to eat at locally owned restaurants and diners, so I was looking for a place for lunch and found the hillbilly grill place was very crowded I think we got the last inside table with only a couple of tables still available outside. They have a very friendly staff ask if I could order one of the dishes a certain way they said yes no problem came to me exactly as I ordered it and the food was delicious I would recommend this place to anybody if you're in this area for lunch. I don't know about breakfast I'll have to eat that the next time I'm in that area.
