I started late on tattoos...37 years old before I got my first. Being a bit older and working in a relatively conservative white-collar industry I had a lot of questions. I found Luke and the team and reached out for an appointment for my wife and I right before I was set to deploy for military duty.

We showed up not really knowing what to expect. Frankly speaking, I was prepared to feel pretty stupid and uncomfortable. Luke and the team were incredible though - made us feel completely supported through all our questions. They talked us through the entire process and shared perspective on what would get us the best outcomes. The shop was incredibly clean and well-maintained as well. Luke even shared that being a specific focus for him and the team to make sure they were delivering the best experience possible.

Fast forward...I'm on my 5th tattoo working with Luke. He helped me on a concept to capture a location in the mountains that my grandfather showed me and that the family and I have been going to for years. It's turned out incredibly well - Luke was instrumental in helping me get the idea out of my head and onto my arm.

This is a great shop and team. Period. However, if you're "late" to the game on tattoos like I was I recommend them even more as they are so committed to a professional and inclusive experience. They are all about taking care of people - even if you are "late"...

Went in on a whim today to get a piece i’ve been wanting done. It was a very simple line work piece, easy enough to do so I figured a walk in would work. I was paired with Cisco.

Cisco blew me away with his work and attention today. He listened to me as the client, was willing to be flexible as things evolved through the appointment and added some beautiful embellishments to the piece I didn’t even know I wanted, just because he wanted to make it pop (though I’m sure if you didn’t want extras, he would be happy to respect your wishes).

He took extra time and care getting it just right, and had a good hand that wasn’t too rough by any means.

I went in on a whim today and left with a piece that was even better than I imagined, and finding a new artist I’d love to work with again. Definitely returning to Cisco and One...

I had a general idea of a couple tattoos I wanted and finally found a font a wanted for one of them. I also already had a lone wrist tattoo on the arm and wasn't sure how to use the space. I let Cisco know generally what I was going for concept wise and he took the time to walk me through tons of size and placement ideas until I saw exactly what I wanted. He absolutely nailed the font for Latin phrase "Know Thyself", and the Blue Lotus surpassed my expectations. The way it all works together with my original tattoo even makes it look better. Cisco's attention to detail is amazing and he made sure I was completely satisfied. Needless to say I'll be visiting Cisco and One Love Tattoos again for future work.
