I live in West Jordan, and drove by the other day, so looked them online up to see what they were all about. I like the concept and the pictures made the food inviting. I decided to give them a try and get some take-out. The food was great! Besides when I got home my taco was plain and did not have all the things that should have came on the taco. I said everything when I ordered. I was not going to go back and complain and make them fix it, because I understand mistakes can be made. Plus I did not feel like going back out, because I was already home. I had enough condiments from their salsa bar (really good too) to compensate, so it was not that big of an issue. They were busy when I left. I did have one issue that was a negative for me. When I got home I reviewed my receipt and saw they charge a credit card usage fee. Unless I missed a sign stating that a credit card charge will be assessed, but donāt think so. It was a little disturbing to see that on my receipt. I understand it cost them to use credit card machines and all, but that should be included in their pricing. I personally do not think that should be assessed on the patron every time a debit/credit card is used. To me it is kind of a ānickel and dimeā tactic to cut costs. It was not a lot of money as you can see (see pic), but I think it is more the principle to me. I am not sure if cash is an option to not have to pay that fee. I give their food a thumbs up, business practices makes me wonder. You could have the best food in the business, but the service/business aspect also...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly Iām disappointed in this restaurant, we gave this place 2 tries to be fair. 1st visit we were āgreetedā with a grumpy/impatient cashier, but we didnāt let it bother us since people have bad days, then upon leaving they left a huge mess of kids toys scattered outside, we were tripping over (not sure why they were left there).
2nd visit wasnāt any better, as soon as we pulled up a worker was out front just detail cleaning his car and making a huge mess. He even had a power cord running thru the main door that we tripped over trying to walk inside. We sat down to eat but only to move tables immediately because this worker was throwing all kinds of disgusting used trash on the floor out side his car. Iām talking tooth picks and hair, trash and car mats. Gross! We finished our food and walked out without anyone paying any attention to us and the worker cleaning his car was rude when we walked by him just to rush us aside.
Bottom line having multiple tripping hazards and cleaning a personal vehicle during business is plain unprofessional! Not to mention the attitude of the staff is unacceptable. The food was okay but thatās not enough to make us come back.
The photo we took doesnāt do much justice because he was finished up by the time it was taken. However you can see the power cord running thru the door and get a good idea how messy it was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have traveled up to an hour and a half to eat at the trucks and was so excited when they opened a store front in West Jordan. The first time I tried it was when they first opened and boy was I let down, based on my expectations of the trucks. I decided to give them another shot after a few months and can say that I was still equally disappointed. I understand that there is more overhead than a truck, but the small portions for the price you pay is just not worth it. The staff are not friendly either. Sadly based on all of the responses from the establishment on the reviews left they don't care about the public opinion and instead will just argue why they don't meet their customers expectations. It's sad that this location is what people are basing the Jurassic taco quality and experience off of. The ratings continue to drop, with no intervention or changes. I sincerely hope that the owner takes a look in the mirror and makes meaningful changes to win back loyal customers and not go out of business. Time...
