DO NOT SHOP HERE. Products are overpriced (you can find the exact same product for less anywhere including the actual manufacturer's website). All sales are always final. They offer a return for store credit within 30 days but don't always honor that - it is at their discretion. If you are even a minute past 30 days, there is absolutely no exchange or credit - and they blame it on "their system not allowing it". Worst of all, they are terribly rude. I've shopped here many times for myself and gifts for my family and know they are overpriced (even down to greeting cards; my mother in law bought a greeting card and it was marked up several dollars). I know they have a strict no-return policy. I felt ok about it because I was shopping local. However, my visit today will be my last. During this visit to exchange a gift with the gift receipt a day past 30 days, they would not provide me with store credit. I very politely asked if there was anything they could do and told them I would spend more than the items credit right then. They rudely said no, they didn't care if I spent any more money there. I then told them that I was going to share this strict no-return and exchange policy in a review so people would know, and they told me "Do what you want! Have...
Read moreThis was the worst restaurant experience my coworkers and I have ever had. My team member found hair in her food. They said they would adjust the bill and tried to hand us $2 in cash for a $49 bill. Which we refused and said keep it. My other team members got the. Crab cake sea food meal and it was a Chef Gordon Ramsey moment for the worst restaurants in America. The crab cakes looked like tuna dried bread balls. The what was supposed to be fried fish looked like it was from a frozen TV dinner meal. The green beans had tomatoes in it. Then the Philly steak cheese sub was so dry and unseasoned it could choke a mule. Then the steak dinner was so tough like chewing rubber bands. They waitresses and staff were rude. Then the customers were looking at us like we were foreigners from the planet Mara. They keep staring at us and whispering. Then we realized we were the only people of color there and some of the customers went out their way to make us feel uncomfortable. The smell when you walk in should have been our first hint that it was going to be a terrible experience. They should have honestly named it the...
Read moreMy husband recently purchased a tortilla press from The Wooden Spoon and specifically asked if it was returnable since we had never used one before and were unsure if it would work. He was told that it could be returned for store credit within 30 days. We kept the receipt, just in case. Sure enough, the press did not work as we had hoped and was of inferior quality. So a week later, he went back to the store and tried to return it to the same clerk that was there when he purchased the item. She told him she had to call the owner even though she remembered my husband and what she had said. The owner refused to allow my husband to return the item in any way. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY SAID TO A CLIENT. WE WILL...
