5-stars for the employees and store. 3-stars for the rude and abusive patrons of this store and shopping center.
We came from 30 miles away for picture frames in a size not stocked by the two Michaels stores near me. This is the second time in the past month I've placed an online order for pick up at this location.
Today we arrive and both spots marked curbside pickup are taken by cars with no one in them. The woman parked in one of the pickup spots comes out, has her child put their purchases in her car, she locks it from the walkway as she is looking right at me the whole time and they head over to Home Goods.
So I run in to get my package as my husband is in the car across the driveway in the main parking lot. While I'm in the store, a woman is rudely honking at him because she wants his parking spot, so when I come out he is not where I expected him to be.
I know the store is not responsible for these actions, but this is what you have to deal with when shopping here, especially if you plan on curbside pickup. On my previous order, I couldn't even do the curbside because they never sent the text to activate the pickup.
The clerks in the store were very kind and understanding. They can't do anything about the customers that choose not to follow rules or directions or common courtesy and they are...

This is my third review of this store (I have overwritten my prior reviews) One visit was terrific, one was awful. Today was both good and bad.
As usual, and I think this is a problem at a corporate level - there isn't enough staff working at the registers. I wound up ambushing a poor lady at the online pickup station about a question regarding a sign in the store. It turned out to be an old sign, but she honored the discount for me and that was awesome. I didn't even get snippy at her or anything - I would have accepted that it was out of date, but she did it for me and that, again, was appreciated. I imagine because of the huge amount of online orders that was what all the rest of the staff was doing.
Speaking of online - I had gone in initially to pick up an online order and that really is a huge time-saver. I have had a problem once with that - receiving a previously opened product that was incomplete - so some items you should just go pick up yourself. But if you just need one item it rocks. Run in, grab your stuff, holler a thank you to the cashier, run out....
Read moreI went in to return items yesterday. I waited 15 or more. I let others go before me to use the self checkout. I was very kind and patient. When I got up to the checkout counter, the worker already had an additude. She was pleasant with the previous customer so I don’t know why she was very short with me. She never smiled or seemed happy. She rang up the stuff that I had and on the checkout screen it asked me how I wanted the receipt. I hit the email button and something happened with her screen. She immediately blamed me by saying that I pressed something else. She was yelling and I was taken aback. I calmly said that I hit the email button. Then she yelled to another worker to come help and again stated that I did something. She couldn’t figure it out so I decided to hit print and the receipt finally came out. She was able to give me my money in cash but I wanted it charged to my card. I decided to just take the cash so I wouldn’t have to deal with her. Next time she is in there I will not be using her services or I might travel to another Michael’s. The worker seemed to be in her 50’s and had long hair. I hope someone says something to her, because no one wants to be yelled at when...
