I recently had a cashier leave a $40 item (jeans) out of my bag. I believe when she took my purchases to another register to remove the security tags that she accidentally left the jeans and they didn’t end up coming home with me. Either that, or she started a new bag and only handed me one bag when I left. I called the store after realizing an item was left behind and felt pretty dismissed by the person who answered the phone. I understand that some people who are dishonest may use this as a tactic to get a refund or a free item, but I legitimately did not receive something I paid for.
I was told that they would give my number to loss prevention and someone would be in touch with me. No one called so I called back again and was told there really wasn’t much that they could do for me and that security footage would need to be reviewed, but that takes place in another facility and is outsourced and that they’re super busy. I wasn’t given much hope that they would ever take the time to call me and the manager was apologetic, but it didn’t get me any closer to getting my item back or a replacement.
I ended up coming back into the store, purchased the identical jeans over again, and am pretty confident they were the exact jeans that I already paid for that ended up back on the rack…
Loss prevention is apparently only to prevent and protect their losses not yours.
I will still shop here, but I will have to be a lot more diligent about watching the cashier and checking my bags...
Read moreThe store has large parking spaces in front. Although the trash can was overflowing, that must mean a lot of customers come to shop. The store over all was neat and clean. The only problem I noted was in the womens make up section. Young women/girls are inconsiderate of others because I witnessed them opening the boxes! Then, open the lipstick to look at the color and then either putting it on their lips or marking their own hand with the color! If they would just look at the end of the box, it shows the color and it's name. Why do they feel the need to open it and ruin it for future purchase? If they're not going to buy it, why would I? That behavior is rude and clearly demonstrates a lack of trained etiquette. Otherwise, the store has a large inventory of popular clothes and...
Read moreThis place is great for what it is. I found Belgian chocolates for a bargain price, which I have not been able to find (that done have wheat in them) for awhile. They taste as amazing as I remember. There's also a plethora of other European goodies, such as cookies and more. My mom and I also found great deals on Harry Potter merchandise, some of these include Harry Potter glasses for around $5, Harry Potter puzzles for around $7, and a golden snitch in a bell jar that lights up for $15. They also have flying droids with cameras that stream video to your phone. I saw two different ones there, one for $40 and one for $80. There were also some great buys there for Christmas presents for the men in your lives, such as old fashioned shaving kits, soap bars with "real beer" in them, and...
