This was my first time ever buying a mattress, and let me just say the service I received from Chris at mattress firm was nothing short of phenomenal. These types of things make me nervous because it’s a big purchase, and I never want to feel rushed or pressured into it by the person making the sale. Chris helped me as soon as I walked into the store. He asked me a few questions about my sleeping, any back pain, and if I sleep hot or cold and then the software picked a few mattresses for me. I made a decision with the intellibed and Chris drew up the paper work and everything. After thinking about it, I decided yes the intellibed was AMAZING, but it was too expensive for me right now (7k) I told Chris that I was going to go with the posturpedic. And his exact words were, if you feel in your heart that it’s the one, go for it. Chris did not try to upsell me, bargain with me to get the more expensive mattress, nothing. He simply made me feel comfortable and confident in the decision I made. He also didn’t try and tell me the mattress I chose was a downgrade. Instead, he told me he sold the posturpedic to his daughters best friend and they were very happy with the choice. I’m extremely grateful for such a caring and involved employee such as Chris! Ronnie and JT are super nice guys and definitely get a gold star in my book for not just effort but above and beyond customer service, which is rare these days!!! I had a budget to hit and a hard rock bed to find to satisfy my 76 yr old double amputee above the knee father, and they made sure to get me everything I needed and the price that we needed too!! They showed me the bottom of the barrel mattress even after I showed interest in a much more expensive one because they were trying to make sure we got the perfect mattress for my dad!! I had a previous not so great experience with a mattress firm mattress and these guys helped restore my faith! Thanks guys! UPDATE: while the guys were awesome, Ronnie also needs to work on his communication, because first, I was delivered the wrong mattress size, even though I specified MANY times we have to have a full sized or daddy’s wheelchair won’t fit beside it, AND, I said I didn’t need a box spring but was told it was a package deal and HAD to get one, but then was delivered JUST the mattress, which works out, But doesn’t make me feel like the deal I got was as sweet, and it was never fully explained to me that I wasn’t getting the box spring too. 😔I’m reducing this to a 4 star, even though my heart...

If you visit the store be sure to ask for JT. My husband and i visited on a day before the 4th of July weekend so it was pretty quiet. And JT was able to show us plenty of options, examples and variety. He was very clear about the different features companies provided and was able to show us the mattress matching tool on their tablet, which really helped narrow things down. In the end we were tied between the higher end sealy mattress and the medium cooling Tempur pedic, which for us at least, was a difficult choice to make, considering how great they both felt. So we opted to think on it and do a little more research, the best part was that there was no sales pressure or sales pitch from JT, just helped us understand the details and differences of the 2.
