I ordered in advance, twelve table top pieces for my parents anniversary party. I was very specific. I wanted short square containers. Arrangements were to be in the middle of small tables, and therefore needed to be quite short. The owner's daughter took my order. She understood completely. She wrote my instructions, and even drew the container I wanted. Almost $400 for the 12.

Twelve arrangements were delivered, all quite tall. I followed the delivery girl back to the shop (a very nice and apologetic girl). I asked the florist to just give me the 12 vases I asked for and I would correct the issue, seeing as how the party started in a few hours.

That florist (not the owner, she was out of town), was incredibly rude. Told me repeatedly that there was nothing wrong with the flowers. She does them that tall for weddings all the time. Never apologized. Never even admitted there was a problem. Refused to give me the vases I needed to remedy the situation.

So, off I go, to the store, to purchase the vases. Then I head up to the venue, where I spend two hours remaking the arrangements. Aside from the fact that I am allergic to the flowers, my entire family was in town, and instead of visiting with my family, I was doing this.

One of my party guests knew the owners, and called them to explain what happened. They were on vacation. I never heard back from them. They have my phone number, and I had no intention of going back up there, to ask for my apology. Why would I chase them down to ask them to do the right thing.

I believe they should have AT LEAST apologized, but personally, I would have refunded half of my money as well.

I cannot believe I paid $400 to do my own...

My Mom is in the hospital so I ordered some flowers to brighten her day. I ordered them later in the day on Thursday asking that they be delivered on Thursday, but totally ok if they were delivered Friday morning.

I arrive at the hospital Friday afternoon around 330 and the flowers had not been delivered. I had to call and ask where the flowers were. This is my first experience ordering from this particular florist and the fact that I had to call and ask where my mother's flowers were left me hesitant to do business with them forward going. If I hadn't called would they just not ever have delivered the flowers?

They were delivered after I called with apologies and the arrangement is beautiful. Just not happy that I had to call them and ask where they were.

I'll give them another shot, everyone is entitled to...
