Managers on a power trip because “I played the system” as he put it! We bought a welding machine for my elderly father for Father’s Day (6/12/24) and the machine wouldn’t work once we got it home. I brought it back to the Bmt store (6/13/24) for a refund, but they wanted to charge me a restocking fee for their company’s defective machine, so I exchanged it hoping the new one would work properly. Brought the second machine home, my father was excited about trying it. The next day my father informed me that he found a better machine for a better price online and decided he just wanted his money back. So 6/15/24 I took the FACTORY SEALED welding machine to the Orange store to get a refund. My son and I walk in and speak to the cashier girl, then hand her the receipts, she called someone over to override the restocking fee (policy states NO Restocking fee on sealed unused items according to the orange associate I spoke to yesterday) questions were asked about the two receipts so I explained the situation. The guy I think his name was Troy, said he wasn’t sure what to do so he called the store manager Josh over. Troy kind of explained the situation and Josh said we had to pay the restocking fee even though the box was sealed because I played the system, when I voiced my displeasure he tells me to call customer service. So, I called customer service and even they said he shouldn’t have charged me the $60 restocking fee but couldn’t reverse the it because it had to be done in store! They apologized and sent me a $50 gift card for their managers lack of customer service skills and knowledge of their...

I have never experienced such wonderful customer service as I did yesterday. I wish I had got the employees names. Went out of their way to help secure me a generator at another location as they had just sold out. I had already drove two hours to get to their store. Took another two hour drive to get to the next store thanks to I 10 being a mess. Equally surprised by Crystals excellent customer service when I finally made it to Lake Charles to get the generator. We have no idea when we will get our power back. These team members helped make a very difficult time for us so much better and showed true compassion. Kudos Harbor freight! For those little proyects I got going on, it hits just right in the pocket. Doesn't break the bank, and it does the job. And Warrior? ¡No hombre! That stuff is tough, it lasts! And the best part? You go in there looking for one thing, right? Like, maybe you need a screwdriver or something simple. But then you walk around, and ¡bam! You see all this other cool stuff you didn't even know you needed. Next thing you know, you're walking out with a cart full of herramientas, listo pa' tackle any little hustle you got in mind. For anyone out there trying to hacer cosas without spending all their feria, this is the spot. Harbor Freight, Beaur, Warrior......
