Mongolian Grill & Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Orange

Other than the great service by the one server that speaks English, this place is a huge NOPE. I drove past many times & the parking lot was always full. I went against my better judgement today we tried it. We will absolutely not be going back. No flavor, the sushi warm & the plate was warm. My husband's shrimp in the Habachi was not cleaned. Let's say the poop shoot was full. Yuck. Bathroom did had a slight cat pee odor but they had a fan blowing. The soap in the dispenser was watered down something, not sure it was soap. I feel bad that people think this is good food. Not one table in the whole room finished their food or took a to go box. The parking lot tells you everything about this place. I usually disregard bad reviews thinking people are just being mean but trust me on this one. I love good food & trying new restaurants. Save your money & go to Spanky's Restaurant...

I’ve never left a review on any place and I’ve had some bad service but this take it! Asked the cook if he could fry my order like he did last time, and I was told he “didn’t want to” so I Asked the manager he said he would take care of it. Told the cook I was allergic to shrimp so plz do not put the sauce on it, or I’ll end up in the hospital. He put shrimp sauce all over the order. Ask them to take it back an plz redo it. He literally just scraped the sauce off, a put more eggs over it trying to cover it up. So I sent it back an said I wasn’t paying for it. Manager tried to still make me pay for the food or he was calling the cops, so I told him call them I’ll be outside waiting for them. Of course he didn’t so i left. Just ridiculous! Worst service I’ve ever...

We stopped in while traveling through town based on reviews. All around it was just okay at best.

We ordered 2 sushi rolls and the lunch Mongolian bowl + jasmine tea. For what we ordered it was very affordable, around $50. The sushi was okay, both rolls we ordered were cooked and both very fresh, just much more rice than I would normally expect.

The Mongolian is a self-serve style, like a Chinese buffet and had a lot of protein and veggie options. My issue was with the sauce selection as it really wasn’t clear what some of the items were or their spice level. My husband and I both made different bowls with different sauces and they both wound up tasting like just soy sauce.
