Pizza Hut — Restaurant in West Orange

I am only giving it a two because usually the pizzas are good, other that that their service is garbage. Every damn time I order a pizza it takes 30 minutes at least. Tonight was my final annoyance with pizza hut it took me an hour for carry out. Granted, I did notice the page said it would take 45 minutes to 55 minutes. I arrived at about 30 minutes. Took anyone in the restaurant to acknowledge I was in the place waiting to pay at least. There were other people waiting as well after I paid, they had the same experience.

I understand it is a Friday night. I do, I have worked in a Dominos which makes it even more laughable that Pizza Hut is trying to compete with them because you all need to up them carry out times. An oven takes roughly 8 minutes to push out an item, at least it did where I worked. That would be 8 minutes plus the time it takes to prep the food. Of course there are probably other orders before mine, however it doesn't take a damn hour to prep my one pizza and shove it through. That's not even the worst part either. Even when we had mass orders, we could still push out single or smaller orders along side the massive ones. There is just little excuse except poor management. The thing I find funnier in all this is that Pizza Hut has pre shaped pizzas, while Dominos has to hand roll theirs every time and they still manage to push out orders fairly quick.

At about 50 minutes, they tell me they have remake my order. Seriously. I wonder if they ever made it in the first place because while I was waiting two of the female employees were going through receipts. Not sure what that was about, but they seemed lost. Perhaps they couldn't keep track of what was done or not. The incompetence doesn't stop there either. I am shown my pizza when I finally get it, and it has a weird hole in the pizza (see picture). It doesn't ruin the taste, and not the end of the world. But damn I waited slightly over an hour for that. I just took the thing, so I can go home. I love the location of this pizza hut because it is two minutes from my house. However if it takes 45-55 minutes to pick one pizza up, I might as well either pick up something from Dominos or have it delivered.

One last thing, one of your employees continuously displays their laziness and lack of respect for the handicap as they keep parking in the handicap section in the front. They have done this pretty much every time I go in to pick up a pizza. I overheard one of the female employees mentioning to another employee that she has told this guy to stop parking there, but he doesn't. I am posting a picture of that as well. This...

I'm going to always give the rating a restaurant deserve , I press one star but if I could I would press a zero , the customer service was horrible , I call in a alfredo pizza from pizza hut & when I arrive I was told they never heard of my name in the system , I still was being very patience & waited , I received 20 percent of of the 5 line if you by two it's 5 dollars each , I arrived home to macaroni & alfredo sauce that taste like it needed to be reheated , I called back because the order was not right , so I spoke to a manager name Bobby , by the time I received the alfredo chicken pizza it was cold by there delivery man , it makes me wonder if there just there for a paycheck only because the pizza I order taste like a cancel ordered pizza by another unsatisfied customer , not only my order but the lady that came in receive her order before my 15 to 30 minute wait on a pick up order of a hungry appetite , the orders was not being read , are put out in the right order , what going wrong with our pizza hut in orange tx on Luther drive 16th St . The entire nightshift needs to be fired starting Feb the 1st 2020 if I had a choice I would call them tonight as a owner of the business on 01/31/2020 terrible service I ever received in a longtime and the worst survey ever I ever had to give about a business I enjoyed so much , Im looking forward to a refund when they open up are better service hopefully the day crew cares about there customers . Decided to rewrite my whole review from my last one, since they took a, at least business wise, large step to making it right. Had an issue involving a pizza 3 or 4 times where it had no sauce, same with a one time wing sauce issue. Had a chat with Regional Manager and said she issued a credit to make up for it (no idea where the credit went, since it wasn't on my phone number or online account) So the original guy who both made a semi snarky comment and remade the order correctly, called since my name was down for a call back, but not for who. Said something along the lines of, "Hey, sorry about your last visit, saw you number down for a call back. Anything I can help you with?" I said, yeah, need Regional cause I only just thought about how I didn't know where credit was issued. Checked my number to see if it was connected to that, didn't see any. So he issued just enough for a free redo of my same order. And MAN, they did way better, sauce on wings, non-greasy pizza, and well cooked. A major improvement from the last time. And the best part? I didn't need to wait for a remake of the pizza 3 or 4 times. Got to say, they brought back my business. Just hope the same or similar thing doesn't happen again. I'd be scared if it did. EDIT NOTE: When I rewrote this, I hadn't eaten my wings yet, and its nothing a worker did, but for some reason the sauce still has an old taste to it. So Regional manager, if you see this, I recommend changing who you get BBQ sauce from, cause this can't just be an older sauce, cause I just got it this morning.
