This was the worst experience ever. I’ve been to schools before for service but nothing like this. First it was small and dirty. You could see hair and dust sitting in the window. I should have walked out then but I had already bought the Groupon and decided to see. One of the instructors sat and talked to me about my hair. I was deciding to go back to a dark color. He said to the student, let’s go see what colors we can use for her. Expecting them to return with the color book, instead he just returned with color. Fast forward to my hair cut, not once did he ask what I wanted, how much to cut off, he just started cutting. I lost at least 5 inches off my hair and the cut is horrible: it’s uneven and I have super think hair and the cut made it even thicker in areas. Now to the “teaching” the only thing the student did was wash my hair and dry it. I heard him say to her “DO NOT EVER DO THAT” or he would rip tools aways from her and toss them. He was so aggressive with her I am not sure how she will ever learn. He had her watch him do things but then say “don’t do it this way as I have years of experience”. As I was being finished I saw him doing highlights on another client and there were big clumps of bleach on her hair on hair he wasn’t highlighting. Oh and the entire back of my shirt was covered with hair dye, he said he got a “little” on my shirt. That wasn’t a little. I also had it on my skin on my arm. My hair was no where near the color we “discussed” and now the hair I have worked to grow is gone. I get it was damaged from bleach but it was an...

I don't even know what to say... I came in there for hi-lights,cut and style last week. There were no students available accept the one, busy doing a customer's hair. Now I booked my apt over a week prior so it was no surprise I was coming. Dylan the owners son/teacher ended up doing my hair. Cool I felt super confident being,this is a school and students do make mistakes. I tell him, I want a trim...3 inches. Mind u that my hair reached my butt. He snips 4 inches but hey no biggie. I have plenty of leangh.Then He bleaches my hair (never once asked the color tone for hi-lights, he jus decidedto use str8 bleach) But he is the instructor, how bad can he be lol smfh. After he washes the bleach out, that totally fried my hair and broke it all aroundthe hair line. He begins to comb it. He turns my chair towards the windows, and about 8 inches of hair drops!!!! My long hair is now not even med hair!! My heart is racing but I'm so upset, I can't speak...By the time he was finished, I now have layers around my face that almost look like bangs! The back is about 2 inches past my shoulders,at its longest layer. Then next layer starting at my shoulders. K.I.L.L- M.E -N.O.W!! This guy claims to be a professional. The crazy part is I wasn't gonna even write a review but i see another girl damn near had the same experience, so hopefully there won't be 3 of us making the same mistake. Ughhh I can't even look at myself. I hate it, it's not what I asked for! This was 1st and last time coming to this dump! I will never Forget this terrible...

If I could give negative stars I would. Let me start by saying I never do reviews but to remain silent, is just criminal for the next person looking for a decent haircut. My sister was scheduled for a haircut on Saturday 5/11 (the day before Mother’s Day *was supposed to see family after ) @ total hair and nails, she was originally scheduled with a student but the owner/instructor of the salon, Dylan had to do the haircut as his students were not showing up ( I don’t blame them, their instructor is god awful) Jessica asked for the simplest of haircuts…. about 4 inches off with some long layers around her face, what she received ( see photos ) was a weed whacker, Texas chainsaw massacre of a cut! Dylan, where did you get your license, an online school in another country ? I can’t fathom how anyone would let her walk out of the salon looking like that.
