Costco is easily one of my favorite stores for food, everyday household items, and lots more! I'm there at least once a week to shop for our household. I love buying in bulk and saving money by doing so! My family loves some their prepared meals that are great for a quick meal to end a busy day. Our favorites are the Salmon Milano, store made chicken salad, St. Louis ribs, chicken quesadillas, chicken alfredo, and rotisserie chicken. Their meat is fresh and high quality at a great price! They have the best steaks out of any of the places I've ever shopped at - including the local meat markets! In addition to the everyday products like food, paper products, cleaning supplies, etc. they also carry other products that everyone uses and needs but doesn't necessarily have to replenish regularly such as; seasonal items, small appliances, bedding, towels, electronics, cameras, computers and printers, jewelery, books, large appliances, tires, DVD's and Blu Ray discs - just to name a few. Many of these things are well known name brands at amazing prices to save you money. The membership fee is well worth your money since you save so much by shopping there compared to local grocery store chains, and the big box stores. Non grocery items I regularly purchase there include clothing (many of which are big name brands at prices you won't find elsewhere), pillows and sheets (some of the best and softest sheets I've ever purchased are from there at unbeatable prices for the quality) I won't purchase them anywhere else now because I'm so impressed with the quality and price, and childrens books (everything from reading books to activity books - including many with my young daughters favorite characters). In addition to their already low prices they also always have sales - even on many of the popular products and brands. The staff at this location is also friendly, making for an all around pleasant...

Read moreI had a horrible experience on April 18th. I battled the crowds and got what I needed for Easter dinner. I went to check out, after I showed my card and she scanned a couple of items she said, you’ve been red flagged!! I asked what that meant and she wouldn’t say. I got really nervous and wondered what I did. Along comes some guy. She told him I had been red flagged. He said he’d be right back. In the meantime without making eye contact she started talking about 2 percent etc. I didn’t understand. He came back and questioned how long I had my membership ( which was all of 4 months) then he stated that I had spent $1,300 and did I have someone else in my card. By then I was really nervous. I’m over 70 and had traveled down to WS from Gfld. I was waiting for police to come in the door or something. Then they were talking about 2% again and benefits etc. I asked if they were talking g about a CC and that I didn’t want one. Then after another few minutes I realized they were suggesting I buy a different membership. I couldn’t believe it. Why weren’t they clear from the get go opposed to scaring me like that. I looked at the girl and told her that I had traveled all the way from Gfld and didn’t appreciate being treated that way. And that I was a membership of BJ’s in Gfld and I wouldn’t be back to Costco’s nor would I be renewing my membership!!! She wouldn’t even look at me, never mind apologizing. It was a very scary and intimidating experience. Shane in your Costco if that’s the way you train your employees to sell...
