Aloha Nails — Local services in West St. Paul

I want to start off by saying that the woman who did my gel pedicure did a good job but my experience was absolutely terrible. I originally came in needing a soak off and a gel pedicure. I told her what I needed, she told me it would be 63$ I said okay. She and another man worked on my soak offs they never ever told me I was getting charged 20$ each for soaking off my toes or hands. If I would’ve known I was getting charged an additional 40$ for soak offs I would have went to another salon. ( I recommend USA nails in Eagan ) By the time she was done she told me my total was 86$ I was so shocked and confused because I didn’t agree to that but of course I paid! And still tipped her because her work was decent but they completely changed the price and when I called them they were very rude and hung up in my face twice! I’ve never experienced costumer service this bad, I paid 96$ for a soak off and a gel pedicure. I’ve been to many nail shops and I’ve never paid anywhere near that. Please be careful coming here and confirm your prices whatever they start doing ask them how much this is because you will not get a refund at all. GEL X NAILS: i came here not knowing much about gel x and wanted to try it out, so when i asked for the nails in the first pic (minus the gems) and it wasn’t looking close i tried to aid my tech by adding my input. instead she (forgot her name bc of the trauma) pushed my input to the side and rushed me making me feel like the problem😭 so i shut up and trusted the process and… wish i didn’t lol! i unfortunately thought i could like them somehow still but ended up just cutting them at home to see if i’d like them better w the almond shape i’d ORIGINALLY asked for (how i ended w those stiletto claws,, idk 🥹)

also my toes were lowkey messy like diy… $127 down the drain and i took all the nails off less than 48 hours after cuz i couldn’t stand it anymore 😩😭😭 so sad i gave all my money here a girl too broke for this but i’d wanted my nails done for months nowww.

This place is a joke. I called before to make sure they had time for me and my daughter. I told them over the phone that I wanted a pedicure for both of us and my daughter wanted a full set. We got in,I said I called for the 2 pedicures and my daughter wants a full set. There was no confusion because they said it right back to me! They did the pedicure which was much more expensive than I'm used to but whatever, it was fine so I didn't mind... When it was time to do my daughter's full set, they did NOT do what I asked for! She gave her a regular manicure and charged me $38! My daughter just turned 12, when on Earth is a regular manicure $38? This isn't a spa, it's a regular Asian nail salon, nothing special! We came all the way from Springfield Illinois to celebrate her birthday and pay $120 for 2 pedicures and a regular manicure. These people know what they're doing!
