Marthaler Park — Attraction in West St. Paul

Hands down best sledding hill. I grew up in West Saint Paul but now live in St Francis. My husband took my kids to Keyes Park in Columbia heights and said it was a really fun experience and I told him that was nothing compared to marthaler park. So today we drove all the way here to go sledding. My kids have been sledding for about 2 and 1/2 hours now and they are still having a blast. And depending on the age of your children, it's great that you can sit in your truck facing the hill so you can watch your kids and not have to go up with them, you can stay nice and cozy in...

Has great paved paths for walking. Has a basketball court, volleyball court, multiple tennis courts, a pond, a giant sledding hill, another sledding hill, multiple picnic shelters and finally, a new playground in the lower part of the park for 2020.

One small thing: I don’t know why they tore out the old playground in the upper part of the park and tore out the drinking fountain that was there too when they put in the new playground in a different part of the park. Seems like a bit of a...

I couldn't find any pictures of the playground structure online, so I am adding a few. This is a nice playground with a large structure. Several slides, lots of climbing things, a couple tunnels, and even monkey bars! My kids loved it!
