Anthropologie is a whimsical, bohemian store with a cozy feel and usually, helpful staff.

Pros: a variety of brands at various price points to meet a more mature woman’s needs (I used to shop here in college but now, at 37, more of the items are my vibe in that they’re more on the conservative side rather than what you’d wear on a night out in your 20s), gorgeous home goods, a flexible return policy, aesthetically pleasing with their layouts and seasonal merchandising changes, nice gift boxes, beautiful fitting rooms, attentive employees who set things at the register when your hands are full

Cons: their sale rooms are always a hot mess (I know from being a previous employee that it’s usually the customers’ fault for picking through things and ravaging the rooms but there is literally no order to anything and things are strewn about), upscale pricing, a very slow moving cash register line, inflexible price adjustment policy, and for a tall but slender person- many of their vendors are boxy, big, and matronly so not so many options for...

Called the store to ask if they had an item in stock and the sales associate mentioned they did not but that it was on back order online. I asked if she could order it for me as I could not pull up on the time on my end on the app. She says they could order it for me over the phone and says to hold while she gets a manager. To my luck comes manager Maria is rude from the start. She’s like “who told could call the store and order the item?” Well clearly your sales associate did. And it’s also fine if you’re unable to place the order, but you could have been nice about it. I clearly told her I would have placed the order in the app if I could see it on the app but I couldn’t find it. I understand holiday season is busy and hectic but don’t work there if you can’t handle it...

OMG. There are three women that work in this location that helped me accessorize an outfit for a wedding. It was fun because they were so casual about it, and super chic. Not pushy at all, great style, they offered cool options. It felt like how a shopping experience is supposed to be. They suggested pink shoes to complete this outfit and give it the edge it needs. I'm getting the pink shoes...... We've all been cooped up way too long, it's time to connect with...
