ChazMaTazz is AMAZING. I just rented a slim fit tux as a groomsman for my friend's wedding. I am not a slim man. I have a large stomach which extends beyond my chest, a large rear end, I'm not exactly tall, and I like to wear my dress pants high which pushes my waistband size to astronomical numbers. Chaz not only got EVERY.SINGLE.MEASUREMENT so perfect that my tux didn't even need to be adjusted after the initial fitting, but I looked INCREDIBLE. I don't mean that it was incredible that the tux fit me, I mean that I looked better in that tux than I've looked in any suit even back when I was nearly HALF my weight.
This may not sound like that much of a challenge, but a mere month ago, I wore a tux of the exact same style using the EXACT SAME MEASUREMENTS for my sister's wedding. I actually got myself measured AT ChazMaTazz and gave the measurements to another rental place in a different state. Every tux at that wedding had different crazy issues and my night ended with me popping my jacket button. With my rental at ChazMaTazz, everyone looked completely on point and incredible!
I went with the groom for our first fittings and we found that some of the groom's measurements were a little bit off. Unfortunately, we were in a rush to pick up some out-of-towners from the train station and couldn't possibly wait for adjustments to be made. Chaz assured us that he could get the adjustments made in a flash, and less than 10 minutes later, the groom was wearing his tux like a champ!
The other great thing about ChazMaTazz are the incredible prices considering the service and quality. Pocket squares for only $10, tie clips for only $20? The employees help you with every item of clothing to come as close as possible to a tailored experience. Honestly, if this place had massages and a TV, I'd be in HEAVEN.
Were there issues with the tuxes? Yes. Did everyone at ChazMaTazz take care of it? Absolutely. Thank you guys for the great rentals, the excellent service, and overall great experience. It is amazing to find a place who can fit a guy of my proportions so easily in a tux but even more unique to find a place which can do it with so much ease, comfort, and respect. Read moreI've been going to Chaz for the last four years for, basically, all of my tailoring needs. I do a decent amount of TV work, so I'm a little OCD about my appearance when I'm on camera. Things need to fit a certain way, or they come off looking weird on screen.
Chaz has been INCREDIBLE to work with. I've taken him off-the-rack clothes I thought had no chance of being salvaged and he's turned every one of them, basically, into a custom line (blazers, suits, shirts, jeans).

My wife and I recently got married. I used that wedding as a slight excuse to get my first custom suit. This synched up well because, around that same time, Chaz started selling customs.
I cannot say enough about the entire experience of getting a custom through Chaz. It was A+ — and I know I wasn't always the easiest customer. Like I wrote before — I'm OCD about the way my clothing fits because I use so much of it for on-screen work. I must have come to Chaz for 5-8 fittings to make sure everything was just right. The payoff? I can't tell you how many compliments I got on the suit at the wedding.
If you're looking for a tailor in the area — Chaz is your guy, especially if you're in a younger demographic. Suits and styles are different for people my age (29) than my dad's. Chaz has the perfect eye for what works now, along with what worked then, and can perfectly fit your clothing to what you want.

One of my groomsmen, who lives out of town, arrived at the hotel for my wedding, tried on his tux (once his room was finally ready at 3:30pm), realized that the white dress shirt was a little small, and asked Chaz over the phone what type of shirt he should go out and buy to match (knowing that there would be no way he could get a replacement that same day, with the wedding being that very next day and ChazMaTazz's business being almost 1.5-2 hours away from where we were). Chaz said, don't worry, let me know what you need and I will have something delivered to your hotel before midnight that very same night.
Chaz, the owner himself, literally went out of his way to not only to have a new shirt delivered to one of may groomsmen, but personally drove from the Jersey Shore, to Princeton, to North Western NJ to just deliver a dress shirt for ONE SINGLE GROOMSMEN so that he would be matching all of the other groomsmen.
This is the kind of stuff you never hear about anymore. Old school service seems as if it doesn't exist anymore, but with Chaz, it 100% does. Chaz is a class act and his reputation speaks for itself. I consider Chaz not only someone that made my wedding day special, but I consider him now as a friend.
If you don't go to Chaz for your wedding, you are making a huge mistake. The quality of his products, the fairness of his pricing, the ease of convenience for every aspect of the process, and his level of customer service are unmatched.
