5-Star Review for CrossFit Prototype:
If I could give CrossFit Prototype more than five stars, I would. This gym has genuinely transformed my life over the past year. While I joined several years ago, it wasn’t until about a year and a half ago that I committed to showing up consistently—4 to 5 mornings a week at 6:00am—and wow, what a difference it’s made.
The community here is unlike any other. From the coaches to my fellow early-risers, everyone radiates positivity, drive, and support. The coaches are absolute gems: they prioritize safety and technique, ensuring we’re properly warmed up and guiding us with patience and expertise. They meet you where you are, whether you’re scaling a movement or chasing a new personal best, and their encouragement always feels genuine (never intimidating).
The recent upgrades—like the cold plunge and sauna—have taken the gym to the next level, offering the perfect recovery tools to complement the tough workouts. And let’s talk about The Open! Competing in teams with fellow members for three weeks is an absolute blast. The camaraderie, friendly competition, and shared adrenaline make it a highlight of the year.
What truly differentiates CrossFit Prototype from many other gyms is its balance of high-performance energy and inclusive, judgment-free vibes. It’s a place where elite athletes and everyday warriors (like me!) coexist, inspiring one another to dig deeper. The accountability here is personal—you show up for yourself—but the community cheers you on every step of the way.
As a parent, I also love that the gym welcomes family participation. My older daughter occasionally joins me, and seeing her embrace the challenge (and the community’s warmth) has been incredibly rewarding.
To the coaches and members at CrossFit Prototype: Thank you for creating a space that’s equal parts challenging, uplifting, and FUN. You’ve helped me discover strength I didn’t know I had, and I’m endlessly grateful. Keep crushing it—this gym is changing lives, for me --one 6:00am class at a time! 💪🔥

Read moreI joined Cross-Fit Prototype, now Prototype training Systems approximately 3 years ago. I had already tried 4-5 Gyms (each one lasting a few months with minimal results) before joining PTS. Firstly, let me start with the crux, if you plan to join a Gym, it must be PTS. Let’s dive into - Why. Not just for the coaches, but for this community which ends up being your extended family. Here is my story, being a smoker for about 20+ years, the decision to join Cross-Fit wasn't going to be easy. I must confess, within a few days of joining, I had to make a choice. This choice was the influence of mindset induced during the first few weeks of joining PTS, engulfed by the community of great people around, with whom we workout each day. I did quit smoking within 3 weeks of joining PTS. PTS is truly about getting you to a growth mindset, exploring your capabilities, making you believe it's not about current boundaries but beyond them. I have not just been part of only the Cross-Fit program but also nutrition with coach Jon, and the results are phenomenal. The coaches at PTS offer personal training, small group training, seminars, and nutrition. I can't stress more, how much fun and engaged coaches make our every workout. Highlighting on the experience of the last few months, PTS got us more engaged, we expanded on our community engagement, not just with zoom classes but zoom coffee sessions, motivational sessions (with Coach Mike), zoom happy hours, and goal sessions with the coaches. When your coach calls on you, to check how you are doing, you know you are at the right place. When you start at PTS, you will feel welcome into this awesome community which thrives on positive attitude, lifting each other and giving back in whatever possible way! So glad to be part of this community. If you are looking to join a fitness club/Gym,schedule a visit and you...
Read moreMy son and I joined Prototype Systems / CFP when it opened in 2012. Definitely one of the best decisions ever! I initially thought it seemed expensive but after years of throwing away money on gym memberships and getting NOTHING in return, I decided to give it a try. We were immediately hooked. The workouts are varied and fun. Everything is scaled appropriately to your level of fitness so that you never worry about getting hurt. They are designed to allow you to grow and take on more as you progress. However the #1 component is the community. We’ve both made so many great friends and acquaintances of all ages over our years there. And working out with friends actually makes you look forward to attending classes! My son literally grew up there - he was 13 when he started and 8 years later he has transformed into a well-rounded athlete. Prototype Systems has helped him with every sport he plays, and the coaches have been incredible mentors and friends to him. I work out so I can continue to do the things I love (hiking, running, biking, dancing) whenever I want to - PTS/CFP makes this possible while making it fun. A few years ago I finally got my husband to join after years of sports related injuries. He now works one on one with Joe Black, and has gained back so much mobility and strength. In addition, my 83 year old mom works one on one with Jon Collette - she loves it too! I don’t know of any other gym that can accommodate 3 generations with such amazing results. I would recommend this facility to any age or level of fitness - they will tailor the program to your abilities and you will see...
