Atattooed — Local services in Westerville

I had a tattoo done over the weekend at this establishment. Where do I begin... My experience was AMAZING. Raven works the phone and she was very professional, thorough, informative, and simply wonderful. I really wanted the tattoo done over last weekend and they got me in; very impressed by their customer service.

I sent the design ideas that I was wanting and Nadine (Tattoo Artist and Owner) went beyond my expectations. Nadine was very professional and personable. I was nervous because the tattoo was going on my back and of course the pain (but beauty is sometimes paid in pain lol). Nadine was so caring and concerned for my comfort during the process. She made me laugh, explained when she needed to and answered all my questions.

The finish design (tears)... Beautiful, just beautiful. She went beyond my design expectations. On top of all of this, she creates her own organic after care products as well as many other body care organic products. I have other tattoos and have used other products, my tattoo is healing remarkably faster and better using her products. Plus her products can be used for standard daily skin/beauty care. I will only go to Nadine not only for tattoo related appointments but I will be using her skin...

I went there to get my helix pierced with my friend and everyone was very nice. I figured I would go back for my first tattoo. I looked at their work and I assumed they were good enough to do something similar to a semicolon. I wanted birds coming out of it and I tried saying that when I scheduled my appointment. She never asked what exactly I wanted when I literally said "something similar but with a little more detail." Me, never have getting a tattoo, and not knowing anyone that has gotten a tattoo recently, assumed we would discuss this when I got there. I showed him (Jared) what I wanted and he said "oh. I dont have time for that" and we agreed on just a simple semicolon and I would add to it later. He had a template that was extremely small, I asked for a bigger one and he gave me one almost the same size. He was very rude the whole time and basically told me I had to get what he had. He went way to deep into my skin and then charged me $80 for something smaller than a dime. I am somewhat artistic and pay very close attention to detail. It's not even and its crooked. The circle is more of an oval. I am not pleased and I will not be going back there...

I called this shop on Tuesday because one of my dermals (I did not have them done here) is causing me some issues. I wanted to have them take a look at it and see if it needed to be removed. The girl on the phone sounded super nice and said to stop in anytime between 11 and 1 on Thursday. She took my name and phone number. So, I showed up today at 11:50. The doors were locked, so I called them, no one answered the phone. I hung around in my car for 15 minutes calling them and waiting to see if anyone would go in or out of the business. I completely wasted my lunch hour to make this trip. it's sad, I felt so good about the conversation that I had with the girl on the phone, I was hoping to book a tattoo during my visit since I have been searching for a new tattoo shop. I would have understood if something came up that would prevent them from being in the shop, but I did not receive a call letting me know. Very...
