Went into this store and spent $60 on basketball cards. 7 packs at $1.50 originally were in a cardboard box in a booth clearly marked 50% off. I kindly pointed it out on the receipt that they were supposed to be half off. The older lady working with long blondish hair got an attitude, stomped from the register to the booth, then accused me of putting the cardboard box into the wrong locked cabinet. “You probably put them there after looking at them.” Considering that is impossible as a worker has to unlock the cabinets and only unlocks 1 at a time. The worker who helped me, sweet gentleman kindly also told her that they were there we when got to it, and that is where we pulled them out of was the 50% off booth. This would have been appreciated had we not just been asked if we needed help with anything less than a minute before in person. Needless to say, we felt a little uncomfortable and were treated in a sense as if we were there just to steal something. We have no problem in the cameras themselves, it was the treatment of not allowing customers to shop in peace and the fact that they just wanted to make sure we knew they had cameras in the room. As a result, we did not feel welcomed and instead immediately left and will be supporting other shops that allow us to shop without judgment. Profiling was definitely involved...
