Approximately a month ago, I visited a Goodwill in Boulder. Two employees volunteered to load a piece of furniture into my car. I clarified that I had another vehicle I could retrieve if my car couldn't accommodate it, but the employees insisted that they would make it fit, and absolutely jammed it in. Lo and behold, my car is severely damaged in at least ten different sites. Paint is chipped on the bumper, seats and trimming are deeply gouged, and there are dents. When I contacted the branch, a manager told me she'd ensure that a man at the corporate office in Denver would get my information and call me back on Monday (within 48 hours at that point). I have not heard from him or anyone else in almost a month, and have not been able to reach anyone at the corporate office. His extension inconsistently works, and I've received no response to my voicemails whatsoever. In addition, the main number for the corporate office includes instructions to stay on the line to leave a message, but the number disconnects before an answering machine picks up. Notwithstanding, there are hundreds (maybe thousands) of dollars worth of damage to my car, and I've seen absolutely no effort on behalf of the company to help remediate the situation. I'll amend this review if needed to reflect any changes, such as if I'm contacted by a representative who can remediate...
Read moreThe store in Grand Junction,Co has the most disrespectful employees and management. The older woman named Janith that works in the fitting room is absolutely the most disrespectful employee I have ever met. She was extremely rude to a friend and I after mistakenly bringing the cart in the fitting area. ( mind you the sign is extremely hard and easy to miss)and continued to be very rude to me after 2 managers were called to resolve the situation. Instead of the 2 managers appropriately handling the issue they continued to let this employee argue with us the managers did not ask her to leave the situation, the managers proceeded to start arguing with me only escalating the issue that I was upset., and and still not discussing the disrespectful employee Janith who threw her arm in the air and rudely spoke to us. The managers not only humiliated me in front of the entire store but continued to do so as I was trying to change in the fitting room and leave the store. All the way until I left. I purchased an entire cart of clothes and they continued to talk to me and continued to escalate the situation. I'm appalled at how these managers escalated the situation and didnt handle the employee at all. I felt attacked. I was a very regular customer until this happened. I will never again go...
Read moreA big shout out to the Grand Junction Goodwill. My place to buy ALL my jeans ! Recently I we.t to buy some more jeans after their remodeling. To my surprise the prices went way up. Ok i understand inflation. Then i couldn't find the dressing room. I asked a young associate where the dressing room was. She informed me that there was no long one. I live 2 hours away from the store one way. I don't get to Grand Junction often. She informed me i could buy the 6 pairs of jeans and return the rest that i did not want. So she wanted to make a 2 hour trip home. Try on the jeans to turn around a d make another 2 hour trip back to possibly return all 6 jeans, and do it all again. She was extremely rude about it. I returned all 6 pairs of jeans to the rack. I will never step foot in Goodwill again. On the other hand , i want to thank Goodwill for that experience as i now go to Walmart who gladly has a dressing room, and i was able to purchase 3 pairs of NEW jeans for cheaper than 1 pair of USED jeans at Goodwill !!! The associates at Walmart were very nice, polite and accommodating. Beware people, check out what you actually get for your money. Used higher than new for more money....
