Taco River is a hidden jewell. We heard about this spot from Instagram and decided to test our stomach and intuition based on some pictures. We walked in, and it just looked regular. So we took a look at the menu and ordered a chicken burrito Some carna asada fries, some tacos, and 2 drinks. At first, our thought was it was gonna be a long day. They had like starry Sprite and a dr pepper. They were both way too sweet, so we swapped our drinks out. After around 12 minutes, the food was done. And it was time to eat. Skeptical, we decided to try the asada fries and, to my surprise tge crunch on the fries and the freshness of the .eat and ingredients was a definite win. As we killed the asada fries, we went in on the tacos of the same fiiiiire 🔥. Couldn't believe it. In my head, I'm thinking ain't no way. But yes, way.. It was jumping. No stomach trouble after, which was a blessing. And will defi it'll go back hope it wasn't a fluke

This is not taco bell, they cook your food to order, so you may have to wait for the delicious, inexpensive breakfast you are wanting. I just paid $7.39 or something for 2 good sized asada breakfast burritos. I'm just going to say that I've always ordered in the drive through, and I always wait a little bit, but it's worth it. Today, there were 2 cars ahead of me, so I waited about 5 minutes from ordering to being served, tops. I definitely got asada, not some mystery meat, as some reviews have suggested. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and the meat was tender and delicious. You will NOT be sorry if you eat breakfast here. I've also had tacos, and the quesabirria, which isn't as spicy as some that I've had, but still pretty darned tasty. We go at least once a week, sometimes more. Gracias por todo, Taco River 2.

Taco River offers a truly authentic taste of Mexico with their outstanding birria tacos. The tender, flavorful meat combined with freshly made tortillas and perfectly balanced salsa create a culinary delight that's hard to resist. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional—friendly and attentive staff made our dining experience enjoyable from start to finish. The cozy atmosphere and inviting decor added to the overall charm of the place, making Taco River a definite must-visit for anyone craving delicious Mexican cuisine ...

Worst place ever , gorditas more than $ 5 dollars so expensive, you know what the restaurant EL SABOR DE MI TIERRA in Lakewood , Co. has good price the gorditas are in $3.50 and are better , bigger and way better more clean place than this expensive and very nasty environment; but here in TACO RIVER is nasty floors , ceiling and walls dirty , doors open and flies around salsas ; also I saw the ice maker open and flies around there too; when I was there were 3 girls employees eating like pigs , talking bad words , talking only really stupid stuff and of them scratching fingers in her nose removing a booger and also she was scratching her nasty fat chest in front my face like no RESPECT TO THE CUSTOMER , also when I was there it was so freaking cold because theses lazy fat employees like to leave all the doors open because probably they sweat because they so fat but why the customers have to eat with this cold , that's no ok ! NO. RESPECT , I think we should call a HEALTH INSPECTOR because this place is really nasty ; so if the dinning room is nasty where customers eat , just imagine how can be the kitchen where the food is , I don't want to imagine how it looks in there , please customers if you see a place like this you should do something put a bad review or call a HEALTH INSPECTOR because this dirty and lazy people are making easy money in a nasty place and ...

I used to order from taco river all the time but the last couple experiences have been awful! Two weeks ago, we had a large work group order. They gave us food we didn't order and left food out that we did. Luckily, they acknowledged their errors and corrected them (after we had to drive back to pick up the missing items). Today is probably the last time we will order from them. One of my coworkers tacos tasted of soap, so she ended up throwing her food away. Another coworker didn't get any of the items he ordered on his soggy, dry tacos, so he threw his away too as they were inedible. I tried to order a bean burrito (without meat), come to find, that isn't an option. So I ordered a marinated pork, smothered burrito without beans. It had beans in it. It wasn't smothered and didn't have anything other then the meat. No cheese, onions, guacamole, ect...and the meat was cold, yes Cold! We tried to call and no one would answer the phone. Our disgusting lunch was almost $50 and we spent the rest of the day hangry! There are plenty of good Mexican restaurants around the 72nd and Sheridan area that we will be ordering from, but Taco River is NOT...

Came here today for the first time. Went through the drive thru ordering was fine luckily I know a little bit of Spanish the woman that took my order did not speak English. I got a Barbacoa gordita two tacos al Pastore and two tacos de asada. My husband did not like his gordita very much he said it was soggy greasy and was not impressed it was a little pricey. I however loved my tacos the al pastor was extremely delicious and steak (asada) was also delicious tacos were a little cold but still tasted bomb. The tacos were over flowing with meat was so good at a great price. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would come back again for tacos. Another down size is a big red Chevy truck blocking the drive thru had to drive around it to get my order also would have liked a little more chili sauce only gave me a couple and were not full only a little and the green chili sauce is so delicious. All in all great experience will...
