I’ve been here since 9:15am for lab work and have an appointment at 10:20am with Dr. Kasi and 11am with Dr. Kasspooles. After we were done with the appointment with Dr Kasi. We was told to wait for Dr Kasspooles and that he was running behind so we’ve been waiting for an hour and 30min before they put us in the patient room. After moving us in the room the waiting game begin. After 2 hours of waiting I went and ask the nurse for how much longer and one of the nurse responded saying “the doctor just went into that room and you guys are next.” I told her we’ve been waiting for 2 hours and all she said was “I know I know.” After speaking up about waiting nicely they sent in a PA just to ask questions then she left and said we’ll have to wait for Dr Kasspooles. The doctor stop by for 20s just to tell us that he’s waiting on the gi endoscopy phone call when they could of told us that since the beginning. It’s been over 2 hours and now it’s about to be 3 hours of waiting. I’ve been here from 9am til 1:30pm still waiting. I don’t understand why do we have an appointment at 11am just to make us wait for almost 3 hours. This is ridiculous how unprepared they are and to make the interpreter and us wait for so long. We don’t have all day to be waiting around and wasting our time sitting there not knowing. I feel like everyone that was here after us got in and out faster then us. How is that even possible. It’s frustrating and annoying to just waste our whole day in one room. We’re all tired and hungry. This is making me soo irritated. The worst experience ever for our...
Read moreI have been being treated here for a little bit over a year for Stage 3 Colorectal cancer. The nurses and Dr’s have been great! The staff that checks you in has been very friendly and helpful until today. When I was checking in today along with all the usual questions I was asked if anything has changed with my insurance. I responded with everything is the same other than my last name. I was then asked for my insurance card so she could make an updated copy. I explained as I was getting my insurance card that my DL has not been changed yet. The staff member hesitated and said I’m not sure what to do that could cause confusion with payment from the insurance company. So, she went to ask, whom I’m assuming is the office manager how she should handle it. She replied by saying very loudly and rudely that “sounds like someone needs to get busy!” I heard her clearly. I am unsure of what her “title” is but, a comment like that is unprofessional to say the least. Michelle Clarke, I have been busy. Since getting married I have been through chemo, radiation, labs, scans, procedures and 2 major surgeries. Not to mention the Social Security office being closed and the fact that they won’t do a name change online, which is needed to have my name changed on my driver’s license. If it weren’t for the fact that the Dr’s are great, KU would have lost my business today because of your rude and...
Read moreIf i could give them ZERO stars i would. They cannot cure or assist people with MULTIPLE MYELOMA cancer. Go there if you want to die or want to be lied to. My mother's cancer went into remission under RESEARCH MEDICAL CENTER until she was referred to KU for a bone marrow transplant. For MONTHS under their care she did not get chemo or any of the same care they assured her she was getting under research. Under KU's care my mothers cancer spread fro, her back to all over her body then she was hospitalized twice because of their LACK OF CARE, CONCERN AND TREATMENT. Her second hospitalization resulted in them advising our family she had to go on HOSPICE CARE because there was "nothing" they could do for her. They told her she'd be fine to "she only has hree days to live" over a weekend in their hospital. As I stated: go there only if you want to die! They don't know what the hell they're...
