Worth a try. I only have the sorbet, being allergic to the milk protein casein. They have a berry flavor, which is good, though a bit sweet. The lemon basil flavor is amazing, totally worth going one time at least. The new grapefruit prosecco flavor isn't as good but fairly good, obviously real grapefruit, fresh, but the wine part is meh and leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. For an alcoholic like me it is a bit insulting. For this reason I will not be returning, mainly. The sizing is too small for the pricing, or the pricing is too large for the sizing. Maybe if they used a scale for the cups I would feel a stronger sense of satisfaction. I don't get the cone as I am intolerant of wheat. They do not have a gluten-free option. Overall it is too sweet, even the lemon-basil. Sugar is the cheapest ingredient, and having more is very easy to do, a kind of crutch. Anyway, it is good, but not great. I say try it, once or more. I do not feel it is a value for me, in this time we live in. I'd rather save my money and maybe just have some lemonade. Enjoy. I think you would benefit from more quantity and less sugar. Also, for that price one would expect it to be...

I am clearly in the minority, but I did not care for the gelato. It does not taste like any of the traditional gelato I’ve had, and had a very strange whipped texture which makes me think they used stabilizers and emulsifiers rather than making it the old fashioned way. The flavors were underwhelming. I tried a few and didn’t love any of them but went with pistachio and salted caramel. After a few bites, I couldn’t really taste the flavor so much- it was just a very rich, sweet experience with what was (to me) an odd texture. I wound up throwing mine away.
I also don’t understand the use of single use plastic spoons and cups when there are so many more environmentally friendly options that would cost the same or less. I’m glad these guys are doing good business but I don’t see...
Read moreI had the chance to try out The Flying Cow and it was just a fantastic experience! We decided to share "the heffer," which is basically a feast of five different flavors. And let me tell you, they don't skimp on the scoops! We went for pistachio, salted caramel, key lime pie, strawberry, and birthday cake. Every single flavor was pure deliciousness - creamy and just what we needed on a hot day.
Even though the shop is on the smaller side, that's pretty standard for places like this. The person working there was super friendly and really fast. The whole place was really tidy, and the menu had this cute touch to it. The gelato in the display case looked seriously tempting, and there's outdoor seating too. A bunch of folks were hanging out there, enjoying their treats.
Overall, The Flying Cow is a total winner in my book. If you're into gelato and looking for a cool spot, this is definitely worth...
