I usually go to the first watch in the northland and always have amazing service and food. I was extremely disappointed in this first watch. On a positive note, the food was good. However, we were ignored for close to 10 minutes. Literally just sitting at our table waiting for someone to say something to us. We finally waved down the server. He did apologize for having not come over already so I thought maybe things would get better. He took the order and we waited a long time for the food. Then someone finally brings our food (not our server, no big deal). Mine was literally missing the dressing. Like it had the little condiment bowl that the dressing was supposed to be in, but it was empty. I pointed it out and asked if I could get it, and she said she’d be right back with it. Five minutes later as I see her in a different section, talking to various people. I ask a different person. She says she will bring it right away and disappears. So a few mins later I ask someone else and said “maybe third time is a charm” and made a joke out of it. We were never once unpleasant or rude and I was very thankful when the second girl finally showed up several minutes later with it. Our server had literally disappeared and never came back to even check on us. He would walk right by and ignore us. When I went to pay, the person at the cash register, didn’t even ask how everything was. We had not complained about anything but maybe they knew they had done a poor job….
I don’t know if they were just off or if for some reason one of us was offensive to them for an unknown cause, or if it was an off day. I can’t believe how horrible the service was, and how disorganized they were. I did leave a 15% tip despite having some of the worst service I’ve...
Read moreThe wait time for doordash orders are horrible. It doesn't matter what time of day or day of the week. Refused to pick up orders at this location for months and took this one trying to give it another shot. Epic fail to say the least. I've been here more than 25 minutes for two items. WTH is going on at this location. I've watched orders come out that came in well after mine. I asked the young african american lady with blond short hair to please check on the order for me and instead she says, " it's coming,". I'm thinking to myself, I'm sure but I was looking for an ETA. I would strongly suggest not online ordering at this location. I would never suggest otherwise either because our customers are their customers. This is a server atmosphere same as ours. I find it quite disturbing the lack of urgency and respect but is what's demanded by that n person by this staff.. once I finally got the order one of the employees an african american man, was trying to puncture the sealed bag to put in utensils as he was walking it over to me. I then said I cannot take the bag if the seal is broken. He proceeded to walk past me and put the order on the table instead of just handing it to me. Never again in life will I pick up at this location or even spend my money at any of the location. I will not recommend anyone to go and be treated so disgusting while spending their hard...
Read moreI have been ordering from First Watch for months and was today called about my order informing me that I need to pay for Real Maple Syrup. Real Maple Syrup is not an add on for their online menu. Sean was incredibly rude about it, and tried to make me feel guilty about not paying for an item there is no way for me to pay for. I have been either going to First Watch or ordering online every weekend for almost a year. Not anymore. I hope the $1 for the Real Maple Syrup is worth losing a customer that consistently spends $50 plus a week.
I am updating my review because Sean reached out with an apology. I am only giving 4 stars because you still cannot order Real Maple Syrup to go. I think it was incredibly rude to assume I was trying to scam the restaurant out of something, rather than trying to correct the problem. Had I been treated with respect in the original interaction, none of this would have happened. Good on them for...
