The Cameo is a local landmark that is much smaller and more low-key than most movie theaters nowadays, but is still nice in its own way. I have always loved this theater. I must have gone at least a hundred times since I was a child. The tickets are an unmatched deal. I think that before 7pm the tickets are 5.50 and after they are 7.50. that's half the cost of other theaters. It is a very well air conditioned space and is warm in the winter. Old school charm with recent updates to the seating, sound and projection systems. You can't beat the price for early shows, 2 people can go for less than 1 ticket in most theaters. With only 2 theaters they may not always be showing your top film choice but they run new releases and most of the big titles. Small theaters are scarce and this place does a great job!
