Slow Coffee is easily the best coffee joint in Weymouth and the surrounding area. The owners are extremely nice, and they make a mean cup of coffee.
The prices are reasonable, and are what you’re paying for local coffee in the area. In fact, I’d say it’s even more of a deal since the quality they provide far outmatches what you’re paying for. The same goes for the sizes. Even if you may get a huge cup of coffee for the same price as a smaller cup here, the quality makes it well worth it.
The coffee actually has flavor and depth, and the espresso is rich. I also got a matcha latte with high quality tea that didn’t just taste like a sugar bomb. Everything is well thought out, and executed well. I also got a bagel sandwich which had great, fresh ingredients, and tasted fantastic.
We really need more high quality, good value, friendly, local storefronts like this. Every cup is worth the wait. I’m thankful they’re helping folks slow down and enjoy the...
Read moreI was excited to visit this Asian-owned café that I discovered through social media, and it didn’t disappoint! Located in the heart of Weymouth, the café may be small, but it's charming inside. We tried their popular tiramisu latte, an everything bagel, a blueberry bagel with homemade blueberry cream cheese, and the double cheese bacon sandwich.
The tiramisu latte was outstanding—perfectly topped with cocoa powder just like a real tiramisu dessert. I’m already looking forward to my next one! The everything bagel was decent, but the highlight was the homemade blueberry cream cheese, which had a wonderfully authentic blueberry taste without being overwhelming. The double cheese bacon sandwich was okay; we chose the spicy option, but it lacked a bit of flavor and was heavy on cheese, which made it hard to taste much else.
Overall, I highly recommend the coffee here—it’s definitely...
Read moreI stopped by Slow Coffee on my way to see my accountant for tax season. My wife discovered the place through its great reviews, so we had to check it out. It’s a cozy little coffee shop with a fantastic staff. They even let my wife customize the sugar level in her drink, which was a nice touch. She ordered the black sesame latte, and it was amazing. The sesame flavor was there but not overwhelming. I went for the cold brew, which hit the spot and gave me the caffeine boost I needed.
We also tried some of their food, and it was outstanding. The croffle with blueberry was a delightful surprise. If you get the chance, definitely try their blueberry cream cheese it's amazing with a warm bagel. I’d recommend eating it right away for the best experience.
If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll absolutely be...
