EE’s Ice Cream Shoppe — Restaurant in Weymouth

After sending my husband out of the store for holding our dog while we ordered, I asked for a menu so we could stand outside while we decided what we wanted. They didn’t have one.

Then when I came back in to order, I watched as they nearly gave a child with a severe gluten allergy ice cream that had been scooped out of the same tub as the non-allergy spoon goes into. This only came to light after the mother had been told it was gluten free and had explained to her son that he could have it. He left crying.

Then when I went up to order, I asked for a half scoop of two flavors in a kiddie size. They said I’d have to pay for a small. I said I didn’t want the quantity of a small, merely two tiny half scoops. They said again that they would have to charge me for a small. Every ice cream place does this. Oh and this is by the way after they took back the ice cream they had scooped for the kid to throw away because he couldn’t have it. It was an untouched kiddie scoop of one of the two flavors that I wanted. They could’ve literally taken half of it and fulfilled my request and they would only be out one half scoop for the price of a whole one. The irony of this is not lost on me.

This place will never survive if they don’t improve their customer service and staff education. And get...

If you like ice cream you have to stop by here. Everything is so delicious!! The staff is so friendly and helpful. I had the best Vanilla shake evah!!! I took my 10 Year old niece, and on the way out she said. " "This is our new ice cream place for now on!" She had choc coated cone with oreo cookie ice cream! I have been in here a couple of times with my autistic nephew for his favorite ice cream and the owner is always very extra nice. The place is always very clean and a very comfortable environment 🙂. I brought my nephew for ice cream yesterday for his 23rd birthday and she put a candle on his his ice cream and said Happy birthday! That's a family business that gives you the best customer service!...
