They advertised black Santa but after I drove an hour there and paid $50…what do I see WHITE SANTA…you guys need to be more specific about which Santa is going to be at what location/time because although I’m sure u could care less …black children already have to jump through hoops daily to find representation of themselves …and so as a black mom to a black kid I went out of my way to try to find black Santa only to have wasted time and money and to be highly disappointed when I arrive to a room full of people who looks nothing like me and a Santa that my black child could absolutely not relate to…I even shared the post because I know so many black parents who are looking for a black Santa …I thought you guys were doing something great for inclusion in the community only to realized it was just another inconvenience for the black kids…and another privilege for the white kids who sees white Santa at every mall , magazine, school ,festival, zoo and etc. I will be disputing this charge with my bank and getting my money back! Read moreWe cannot praise The Empty Corner enough for their beautiful venue, location, offerings and amazing staff! When we first visited, we loved the high ceilings, the gorgeous tall windows and how welcoming and elegant the space is. They also offered all the things we were looking for; a unique space, byob, parking area, options to decorate the space as we want, and to top it off, reasonable pricing. Setting up an event contract was so fast and easy and gave us confidence that we really went with the right venue. It was an absolute breeze to work with them in hosting our Baby Shower event. Their event support staffer, Kasia, was such a great help in setting up our decor, music, and tv slideshow. She was so kind and accommodating throughout our entire event. Our family and friends kept raving about the place! “How did you find this? It’s so beautiful, it’s such a perfect space!” As hosts, we were thrilled to hear that. We are absolutely coming back to The Empty Corner and recommend the space and it’s staff highly. Please support this...

If you haven’t already done so, stop by and check out the Empty Corner. You’ll find some pieces by local artists and maybe even be lucky enough to run into the welcoming owners. Whatever you have to share, however you want to connect, the Empty Corner can help. See what events are coming up and ask how you can...
