Until today this was my favorite place to donate. The ladies in the back who sort the donations are courteous and conscientious, and really take care with the donated items. I no longer live in the area, and now drive here from the city to bring donations even though it's about a 45-minute drive. Today I arrived at 3:55 pm, and because the back doors were closed I went through the front door. I asked the tall-ish, dark-haired woman at the register if they could please make an exception and take my (single) bag of donations because I just drove in from the city. She shouted over a customer's head in line, "Yeah, everybody says that! Put it by the EXIT sign." If you're the owner reading this, it was the woman with a hispanic accent. She needs a refresher on how to speak to people.
She was abrasive and not gracious at all. Get a grip lady! You work at a charity that is supposed to bring peace and support to women. You're doing it wrong. All wrong.

Read moreI recently went to this suburban location to make a donation of some good quality hand bags. Had quite a few. Unfortunately, I was unaware I was late to drop off a donation - they stop at 3:00 PM. The back door was still open and there was a woman standing there - when I pulled up and asked if I can make a donation, She was incredibly rude and said, we closed at 3:00. While they technically were not actually âclosedâ - the donations stopped at 3:00, i had failed to see the sign on the wall a few feet down. She said nothing else, turned and walked back inside. Perhaps it may have been better to say - we stop at 3:00, but if you come back tomorrow - weâd be happy to take it. I went a few doors down to another charity. I always liked the cause/purpose Wings serves and have always wanted to help them since they lost a location due to a fire several years back. Sorry, Wings, gave it to another place, who accepted it...
Read moreUsually I have a good experience shopping at WINGS. I did not today. I have been shopping at this store for years. Please cashiers, check on your color of the month tagged items and make SURE the percentage off does come off the final cost. I questioned the amount due and was assured that it was accurate. It was not. Once again, I was charged full price on an item that had the color of the month tag. Cashier's mistake. But then I was asked to just credit my account. I asked for my money back. She was not happy. Grumbled something that her register will be short. Several people ahead of me had donated their change back to WINGS ....then proceeded to talk about me when I walked away with my percentage off money back. Very unprofessional. I have donated many items to WINGS this year. NEVER again---I will not be back. I'm donating my points to my cousin. You have lost a...
