
I used to be a client at Frederick’s for years and would utilize their hair and brow services. I also went there for my makeup and hair for my wedding. I loved going there and always felt welcome. I also love the Amika products they sell and purchase them frequently. Now, I’m a teacher at a residential facility and a first time mom to a seven month old little boy. I felt like I had a fallen into a rut and needed a little pick me up. I decided to book a brow lamination and tinting service for this morning since I was off from work. I arrived on time, checked in, and was waiting in the waiting area until I was called back. After five minutes of waiting, the receptionist came over and told me they would have to reschedule me for another date and time when I had a babysitter because I brought my baby with me. I was told that they don’t allow children under a certain age; however, he was sleeping quietly in his Doona carseat. I stated that I did not care to reschedule. I believe that this is completely messed up and uncalled for all because I brought my child to a hair salon. I know that it won’t affect them whatsoever in the long run, but they have lost my business...
Read moreDO NOT DO IT!!!!! Valentines Day Gift from me to my fiance... The stylist were really friendly. Management was very inconsiderate and irrational. We scheduled an appointment for hair, nails and massage, upon arrival, during check in, we learned it was only a 30 minute appointment. We settled for a color, dyed brown, they slapped on black hair dye and left a stain ring around her forhead and all down her neck. The stylist referred another stylist thats familiar with "her hair type" to trim off her dead ends and she picked chunks of random pieces and just cut. No combing out. No technique used just cut random pieces. My fiance's hair ended up very uneven, choppy, colored too dark and her skin is severely stained. She literally left in tears and embarrassed. She was suppose to feel beautiful when she left but instead she's disappointed. I called management and they said they spoke with the stylist. There's nothing they can do. So, it feels like I paid for them to jack up her hair. Nothing she wanted was done even close to what she requested. Management got their money and excuses. I do not recommend them...
Read moreI had my lashes done here on a whim because my usual person was on vacation. They weren't that great looking that day but I just figured it was because I was used to something different (different product or something). Then, within 5 days so many had already fallen out that I needed a fill. I called for an appointment for a fill and planned to ask what the heck would cause all of them to fall so quickly (never happened to me before). Then I just decided to cancel the appointment because I was afraid they were all going to fall out again after I had already spent $180. I didn't want to spend another 75 for a fill for the same thing to happen. I attempted to cancel the appointment TWICE and apparently if you don't get a confirmation number it doesn't count as a cancellation. So they charged me for the appointment anyway. I called in trying to explain that I did cancel via text/online but the employee I talked to, who was extremely rude, refused even a partial refund. I 100% do not recommend this establishment for lashes or for anything due to their shifty...
