I really wish I could give a negative star rating. I have been doing business with these guys for months, and at first they seemed pretty cool. But one day I needed some gas for appointments and took my guitar in asking to borrow $10. The guy said he could get it online for $9 then said he'd prove it if I paid him $10. Then as I was walking out he said he thinks I stole the guitar. I will not lie, I cursed him out good. I used every "bad" word in my arsenal. But his attitude and how he treated me was ignorant. As pawnshops go, this place is aces. It's like a living piece of Wheeling Island history. It is small but there's a great selection and the staff is cool. Really worth browsing the place and it's a hidden gem to out of towners. Doing business with them: they are fair and decent, but it IS a business, not a charity. They are not cut throat but they are a pawnshop. If you're reasonable with your expectations, you'll have a good experience...
