Sit 'n Sleep — Local services in Whittier

I walked in to Sit & Sleep desperate for a GOOD bed, a firm mattress. I haven’t slept or rested well in over a year cause I bought the wrong bed. I was met by Angie and she knew EXACTLY what I needed & was looking for. She did not Into one mattress, she showed me various ones. But it was the first one that she showed me that was the one for me and she knew it. I respect somebody who knows what they’re working with and knows what a customer needs. Did a cost a lot? But you get what you pay for. I cannot wait for my bed to arrive tomorrow I am editing my review. Nothing to do with Angie. Everything to do with Sit & Sleep policy. First & foremost I was never told that there was no ‘return’ policy! What kind of company, where people spend 1000’s ($5k to be exact) of their hard earned money, do not have a return policy? I mean, I know restocking fees are normal. But no- they strong arm you into HAVING to keep their product regardless if you are happy or not. I guess they missed the class ensuring customer satisfaction. No where on my receipt does it even mention that they don’t accept returns. Nor was I ever told, not mentioned … nothing! But wait!!! You can exchange (they actually have a policy that you HAVE to keep your mattress for 30 days .. I thought it was a 30 day trial period) the mattress after 30 days? How much sense does that make? You’ll allow me to sleep on it for a month then exchange it but you won’t allow me to return it a week later and go buy a bed that I found that doesn’t cause me pain? Nice way to take people's money. The bed I bought is hurting my back. I am in more pain now than when I was sleeping on the floor or the blow up mattress! I found a bed I really like and want but I can’t afford to throw away $5000. I am having spinal surgery in 11 days. I very intricate/delicate surgery that will have me out of commission for months. I need a bed I am going to be comfortable in. Well not from Sit & Sleep. Because they don’t allow returns. Oh wait they made an exception to allow me to not HAVE to keep it 30 days. They said I could exchange it. Why would I want to do continued business with a company that has puts their customers needs/ happiness...

I am disabled veteran and I'm relocating to the east coast to be near my kids. I wanted to purchase a good quality mattress to go in my new home upon arrival. I had not shopped for a mattress in a while, so this felt foreign to me. I ran across Sit 'n Sleep and decided to give them a try. I was greeted by Phil and he made a really good first impression. He sat me down and hook me up to the bed that measures your composition to determine the best fit for you. I was blow away by the experience. I ended up being fitted for a medium firm mattress. Once I laid down, I felt like I had cheated myself out of a good night rest for years. I had to have the mill lake medium firm mattress. Phil went out of his way to help me purchase and have it shipped to the east coast to arrive a few days after I get there. I am truly excited about my purchase. I feel like I bought a mattress fit for a king. I am glad I stumbled across Sit 'n Sleep. I'm glad I had Phil as an expert to assist me with selecting a mattress that I will enjoy for years to come. Let me start by saying that our search to buy a new mattress was not so smooth sailing, with Presidents’ Day I wanted to take advantage of the sales going on, so my mother and I went to the Sleep Number Store located on 13553 Whittier Blvd. Whittier, CA 90605 and to my surprise we were ignored till we walked out the door and was told to look around that they were busy with a customer on the phone. They never even bothered coming up to us, wish I could say both their names but they never left their desk to be able to see their name tags. I just didn’t think we had to get dressed up to be taken seriously. And so we decided to go visit the Sit N Sleep store off of Whittier Boulevard in Whittier, CA 90605 just down the street which is where we met Angie Jones where we were met with the best customer service. She could have thought “oh these people are probably not going to buy anything and just waist my time” But she was ready to answer any questions we had, while never making us feel pressured to purchase anything, but made us feel important enough to treated us with respect and dignity! Oh and we bought the bed with 0 % financing for 36 months 😬...
