I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by Blue Moon Catering for our wedding on July 26, 2025. We selected your Vietnamese-British style course meal, expecting a professional experience and quality reflective of the premium price we paid. What we received was far from acceptable.
As the bride and groom, we invested a significant amount with the clear intent to offer our guests a full, satisfying dining experience. Not only were the portions inadequate, but food was not properly distributed to all tables — a completely unacceptable oversight for any professional caterer. To make matters worse, we were not made aware of this issue until after the wedding, leaving us no opportunity to intervene or correct the situation on the day.
We trusted Blue Moon to execute your end of the agreement professionally and thoroughly, allowing us to focus on our celebration. That trust was clearly misplaced. The lack of follow-through, food quality, and basic communication reflects a level of carelessness and unprofessionalism that is both disappointing and frankly insulting.
To add to our frustration, after sharing our concerns, we were assured we would receive a call back, a promise that was never fulfilled. This disregard for client feedback only reinforces our belief that Blue Moon lacks both accountability and customer care.

Yes usually catering staff can have leftovers but this wasn’t during that time it was during the reception not too long after cake cutting. When I as the bride as to go and find staff the ran off and tried to hide. Read moreI had the Blue Moon catered meal at the MTW Andover amphitheater as part of their VIP ticket. The meal was described as “ a seasonal greens salad topped with chilled balsamic glazed flank steak; a mini baguette and butter; and dessert.” I opened the styrofoam package to find a salad with two slices of cold raw steak laying on top of the salad. To say this it was rare is not even close to describing the meat. It was raw, uncooked, not the tiniest bit of browning on the meat. I tried to cut a bite but it was so fatty, grisly with strings of tendon running thru it I couldn’t cut it.
