The awesome gift shop of Delano, just west of the clock tower roundabout on Douglas. Here is an absorbing collection of books, clothing, and various treasures that represent the surrounding area perfectly, with the special occasion cards and Wichita items I’ve never seen before being a couple favorite finds of mine. Extremely interesting set up inside that is highlighted by an old school pinball machine that has been modified to rep ICT. There’s also the new video rental program that has a nice selection of DVD’s and VHS tapes, which I plan on trying in the very near future. I was a visitor in Wichita and wanted to bring gifts home to friends. My son who lives in the area was volunteered by my daughter in law to drive me around to gather items. We went to the airport thinking that was a easy shopping trip. I almost bought a plane ticket to get to the shopping area. I was talked out of that idea. We visited 6 other stores. We are locals, my 12 year old asked to check this shop out. We were pleasantly surprised at the fun merchandise that matches the exciting window decor. We then had an opportunity to meet the owner who was so gracious and made our visit even more memorable by gifting my daughter a vortex souvenir sticker she picked out among others she purchased.
