If only there was an award for places and establishments that go above and beyond a simple 5-star rating! Kelsey and Bungalow 26 have a special place in my heart as a local small business. My best friend and I frequent Bungalow during each gift-giving season and whenever we can in between, so when my BFF's birthday plans were thwarted by a global pandemic, I reached out to Kelsey to obtain a gift. Coming into the store wasn't an option so I told Kelsey my budget and asked her to bag up a few items for my friend. Not only did she get exactly what my BFF liked she remembered her most purchased items! Never have I experienced a level of authentic customer care and genuine appreciation from a business owner. As if the level of customer care wasn't enough, the atmosphere at Bungalow is calming and intriguing. Kelsey works diligently to supply and provide a range of items to suit any taste without crowding out her retail space. The shop is wide enough to allow customers to browse without feeling boxed-in and there is always a new eclectic collection to catch the eye. I've said it once and I'll say it to anyone who inquires: I would absolutely LIVE in Bungalow 26 should Kelsey need a full-time shop keeper. Fantastic shop in Delano, on Douglas and just west of the clock tower and roundabout. Here is an extensive collection of unique and tasteful gifts, specializing in bath and body, but also filled with other treasures to explore like jewelry, candles, and intriguing items. Amazingly merchandised, the store continuously changes window and shop displays around making it a fresh experience each visit. This is my favorite little shop in Kansas. When I step inside I am overwhelmed with all of the wonderful smells around me. It takes me away to the big city where you find little local shops just like this.
