   Read moreYesterday, I arrived at cost co 12:30 pm to buy a storage shelves I have seen almost two weeks ago. I went to the same place where I have seen them couldnât find, obviously they changed their location and I kept searching only found the display shelves. I looked and looked for cost co employees none was in the whole area. I decided to go to customer service and they searched the system and they found eight on stock. I told them I didnât find any so please take me to them and a lady walked with me and we came to the same area where the display one is. She decided to go and grab one of the managers maybe he has an idea where are the rest of the shelves on stock and he looked and looked everywhere and now is 1:00 pm and I had at 1 and 1:15 app for me and my son somewhere close to Costco so I had to leave. I asked them if they can call me and let me know if they found them and if not, can they sell me the display one. The lady was nice and told me yes and told her let me give you my cell number and said instead give me a picture of your cost co and then I left. 45 minutes later no one called , later I knew the lady called me on my home phone number, so I called Costco at 1:48 and talked to the administrative office and explained why I am calling and if they found the shelves and the guy over the phone told me to wait and he spoke to a manager and then he asked me if I am okkkkkkk to get the display one and said yes. Then I asked him to have it uninstalled and left it at the customer service for me to pick it up and he said they will and he asked me when I can come to pick it up and told him after 30 minutes from now and he assure me they will. I arrived to customer service at 2:25 and asked them if they have it ready to go and they said they dont know and they will ask one of the managers. I told them I spoke already to someone and promised me with that. Then a manager came and he was so rude to me when he spoke to me as if I was lying. Then after 45 minutes of wait, one of the customer service employees came to me and said the shelves were left to me on the side by the check out lane and I have to go grab them and pay for it.    Read moreTonight 10/29/2020 at about 6:50pm on register 12, a Hispanic woman in front of me was asked for her identification when she presented her Costco card. It turned out she was not the card owner. The card belonged to her daughter who was not present. I saw that she was being sent away without being allowed to make the purchase. I offered to have her as my guest and was told that was not possible because she would have to pay with cash. The woman was holding the cash for her purchase which I tried to explain to the cashier. The cashier and her manager could not/ would not hear me. They were too busy having her young-preteen grand-daughter translate the problem to her grandmother. Now I do understand that membership is required however, as I later found out when I called the store, as a member I can have a guest and either I can pay and be reimbursed, or they must pay cashâwhich is what this woman was ready to do. I also know with certainty, that under no circumstances should a pre teen girl be put into the position to translate or be the arbitrator between two, giddy, we gotcha, Costco employees And her grandmother. If a dispute needs communicated to an adult, regarding matters of business use a translator from the store, not the customers 12 year old granddaughter!! Some might say that the granddaughter chose to translate. Remember; She is a 12 year old girl, she would not be allowed to have a Costco card of her own, and should not be allowed to translate this, no doubt, embarrassing situation for her grandma. If you are going to check I D to use the card do it at the entry door when you verify that each customer has a card. If I D must be checked at purchase and purchase denied, then for goodness sakes have an adult explain the issue to the offender; whether they speak English or not. If no adult translator is available then flag the card, contact the card owner, do what ever you must do, but do not have a little girl convey the sanctions from Costco to her grandma for...
