On April the swimming pool was closed for two weeks, but I only got one week of the swimming class refund for my two kids. And nobody called or told us the swimming pool was closed before we got there. And one of the front desk lady was really rude and refused to apologize not telling me the swimming pool was closed. Bad service! And the swimming class gurantee 6 students for one teacher but it always has 9 students. So most of the time the kids just sitting there learning nothing. Next year I would not spend money on the membership and any classes there. I have the same phone number all the time and I am not the only one not got the Class Cancel call. Other parents didn't know the class was cancelled before they get there. I have been talked to the ladies in the front desk and they made me went find Rachel and talked to her. They all said it would be more teacher coming next week but it never happened. It's not the only bad thing about the swimming class experience. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the YMCA's handling of my membership cancellation. When I initially joined, the YMCA was more than eager to take my money and set up my membership. However, my experience with trying to cancel this membership has been nothing short of a nightmare.
Despite repeated attempts to cancel my membership, I have encountered nothing but the runaround. I was assured on two separate occasions that my account was canceled, yet I continued to be charged membership fees. After being charged twice more after the supposed cancellations, I contacted the YMCA again, only to be met with the same empty assurances and another unwarranted charge.
This level of service is completely unacceptable. It is frustrating to see an organization that prides itself on community values and integrity behave in such a dismissive and misleading manner when it comes to handling their members' concerns. I expect immediate action to rectify this issue and ensure that no further charges are made to my account.

That being said, I canāt help but be disappointed with the customer service during the late evenings, leading to this review. Iām used to YMCA employees greeting me with a smile and a āhelloā every time I come in. Now, I am completely ignored. At one point, the North YMCA employees would even check me in when I walked in. Little touches like that really made a difference and are missed dearly. A few weeks back, at 9:58, the lights were turned off in the main gym. Even when the gym closes, turning off the lights on your customers is extremely inconsiderate and could even be dangerous.
