Today is my birthday and I was so excited to go in and purchase a new to me vehicle. I looked online and found the one I wanted and did the application process. Shortly after I had a team member reach out to me through text and said she would let the manager know my application for financing was in... And she called me sir!! I understand through text you never know just by looking at a name but when I corrected her with ma'am, she said lol military habit, it wasn't until I had to actually tell her I am FEMALE that she says omg I'm sorry. So I schedule an appointment for today and was greeted by a salesman (Jasper) in the parking lot, he gets my information that I had sent in and said I was approved. Here's where it all goes wrong... He pulls the vehicle I want to the front as well as the vehicle HE wants to sell me and immediately takes me to that vehicle. My husband and I look at it and we said we really did not like one and wanted to look at the one I had came in for. Repeatedly, I am told that it is more expensive and asked which is more important, my budget or the looks of a vehicle. I told him I will not settle for something I do not want not would I be happy with. We had discussed my budget many times and I told him my top $ monthly payment. I test drive the vehicle and I'm in love, I really really want this vehicle. He told me I still need to test drive there other vehicle, I said boo I don't want to test drive it because I do not want that vehicle. He said so even though this car is more expensive you're leaving with this car today correct? I said that's the plan. We go inside where I'm asked to sign a bunch of papers before even discussing the financing. He leaves for a bit and comes back all excited asking if I'm ready for the confetti and to have them all shiny happy birthday to me so I'm thinking okay it must be a good deal. WRONG! Not only was the monthly payment way above my top dollar, it was almost twice what I said I was willing to pay. His manager Rigo comes over to "sweeten" the deal but offering 2 years free oil changes and letting me make the higher payment biweekly... Are you kidding me? I told them I value my family more than this vehicle and would not put us in a financial hardship to just get a car that I like. Jasper says but you live this car... That may be true but I love my family more! So they then try to get me to buy the other car after I had told them over and over I do not like that car! So instead of showing me any other vehicles that may fit my budget better they just wanted me to buy the one they wanted me to buy. At this point I'm so irritated and disappointed that I told my husband we're done here, I absolutely will not pay that monthly amount or buy a car I do not want, and we walked out! My heart was crushed but I will go elsewhere and find what I want and I will not "buy from...

The lack of communication and "hidden" fees very real here. We looked at a car that they just got which means that it was not detailed or cleaned which we knew when we looked at it and test drove it. After test drive we decided to buy the car and that's where things got difficult... First of they had $2100ish added for their "ceramic coat" which they told us that it's already on the car so it's not an option to remove it... THIS IS NOT TRUE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR ADD ONS THAT YOU DIDN'T ASK FOR... but in our case this "ceramic coat" wasn't applied to our car because they just got it but sure enough here it was added in there. We told them it was a deal breaker and needs to be removed so they tried to make it seem like they are giving us a deal by brining it down to 1k which we still weren't ok with because this "ceramic coat" wasn't applied to our car. Another thing is that they miss informed us on warranty which we had to clear up with them. The just of it was that they told us it was lifetime powertrain warranty for the vehicle we are buying but come to find out that this wasn't the case. Over all bad experience when we asked questions about the final price and removing add on that we didn't ask for they got rude stating that it didn't matter if we buy the car because it'll sell anyway... We did buy the car after all was figured out and then we left it for service, when we picked it up it wasn't detailed it was just wiped down and the reason we know that is because I had to clean it after them. They also didn't polish the headlights like they said they would and I believe that the oil change was not done like promised because there was no sticker on my windshield or a paper work order... I did ask for the work order a few days later and it took them forever to get it. I believe they just printed something off to satisfy my need for it. A month after my purchase they called me saying that they found another key for my vehicle which is crazy that they misplaced it in the first place but it shows the quality of care.
Definitely don't recommend shopping here. They were too focused on telling you how they are like family but added as many "hidden" fees as they could. Just remember look at the final price and breakdown before purchasing a...
Read moreWe purchased a used vehicle on 5/20/2023 at Family Mitsubishi of Wichita. We were told we would be treated like "family" & they would take care of us. After the purchase, we weren't treated that way. The vehicle has multiple issues that haven't been resolved; requesting since the beginning to return this vehicle & convinced by the dealership's service department to use our purchased warranty even though they promised to take care of these issues at the time of purchase. Then they decided they could fix the issues instead of using the warranty but the issues they did "try" to fix were a fast fix & the issues returned. They then stated they would swap out the collateral for a different vehicle & even provided all the details on it to be swapped out with. They decided again after a week that they were unable to do the swap & they haven't communicated with us since that time. I have called leaving a message 35 times with only 6 return phone calls. We mailed a certified letter to the owner of the dealership including a timeline & notes of all the issues, with no response to our 10 day deadline I tried to contact the dealership with 4 more calls & leaving a message but still no response. They have stated they will take care of the problems, then change their minds & then no discussion/response from them. They have continued to be very unprofessional in all aspects. This has been over a 90 day ordeal that has drawn out over the summer with 100+ temps & NO air conditioning; plus all the other issues they have not fixed from the beginning purchase date. We will never recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from this dealership due to their lack of customer service & communication skills. They say they are a cut above the rest but they are far from that. Unfortunately, we will be trading this vehicle in towards a different vehicle at local dealership which we will take a loss but the only option we are left with so we can move on with a decent vehicle &...
