UPDATE: I think it's pathetic that you would use Covid as an excuse for a price change. You quoted me on the phone and I placed the order two days later. I actually called the next day but you were not available and were to call me back. No surprise that you didn't, it is a pattern with you. I fully understand that you are a dealer and do not make the products that you sell. As far as the owners manual, I am quite aware that the product comes with a one year warranty. The owners manual also states to contact the dealer should service be required. So, again, my recommendation to anyone thinking about buying an appliance from Dave's is to really consider what Dave has confirmed in his response to my review, that they do not provide service. I can tell you from my recent experience that you do not want the nightmare of having to get warranty service on your own. 8 weeks of not being able to use my brand new dishwasher that I finally paid a service man to fix.
I've purchased from Dave's two times. I made my first purchase, a refrigerator, based on the good reviews. Dave delivered it himself but the door hinge needed to be changed. He asked if he could come back to do that as it was a holiday weekend and he wanted to get home. That was three summers ago and still the door hinge hasn't been changed. When I needed to purchase a new microwave and dishwasher I decided to use Dave again. He didn't have the dishwasher I wanted but recommended Frigidaire, stating that he never had problems with them. I ended up having to pay more than initially quoted and I had to pick them up. The dishwasher failed after the first use. Per the owners manual I went back to the dealer. Dave told me that they don't have service and I needed to call Frigidaire. They gave me an appliance company that only services what they sell. Dave was supposed to handle getting me service. That was three weeks ago and still no call back. I have a dishwasher used once and hasn't worked in 4 weeks. I'd advise using a company that has a service department so you won't be stuck like me. I'd also be a bit skeptical of all the 5 star reviews, I haven't had a 5 star experience in two...
