Spineless Reads — Local services in Williamsburg

I stopped by to check out this new bookstore today on their opening weekend, and I loved what I found. They have a solid variety of genres, with quite a few independent authors, not just the big name ones. While I was there, I heard the owner offer to order books they didn't have in stock, so I know they can get something if you want it. He also mentioned they are still building their stock, so they shelves will be even fuller than these pictures, which were reduced by many sales in romance and fantasy books in particular. Spineless Reads is an absolute must add stop to anyone in or traveling to Williamsburg. Although they are multi-genre bookstore, they have a much larger selection of horror books than a lot of other indie bookstores, which was a huge selling point for me. The layout is wide open, which means even when other people are browsing the same section, it doesn’t feel crowded or like you’re in the way of someone else’s shopping. He recommended several books for me, and I was so impressed by his memory of each title and what it’s about—it made it easy to find exactly what I was looking for.
