Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Williamsburg

Noodles and Company is a great place for lunch with a diverse, affordable menu. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very balanced and tranquil. Outdoor seating is also good. Service is usually pretty prompt and, importantly, portions are very large for the price, making for a good value. Someone with a small appetite could easily make two meals out of one serving. This is a place with a secret menu! Some delicious hidden items. I recommend the Thai Hot Pot if you don't mind spicy food. You won't regret it.

I mentioned that it is affordable, but with a caveat. Omitting meat items from your meal makes them much cheaper, which I personally like because it gives you realistic control over the price of your food. Usually it takes the price from about $9 to about $6. Meat is expensive, so it only makes sense that removing it should save the consumer money. (I say this in contrast to places like Subway that only give you a 10¢ discount for omitting meat, at which point it makes no sense to do so. The price for the no-meat option is artificially inflated, effectively forcing you to buy something more expensive. I don't like this practice at places like Subway, and much prefer Noodles and...

So my kids and I have always loved Noodles and Co., but this location has gone above and beyond both times we've gone in. The first time was my daughter's birthday, and the young man at the counter was SO patient and kind with myself, the kids, and our 5000 questions. He talked with the kids and made it a great time for us. This last time we went in, I had an issue with my card where it wasn't working due to a fraud hold I didn't know about, and the entire staff was amazing. They did everything they could to fix the problem while I was fighting with the card company and having three hungry kiddos. After saying I would just have to leave it, they all got together and gave up their comped staff meals so that we could have lunch. That's four people on staff that gave up their free meals to help us! I was so overwhelmed with their generosity and understanding, weeks later I'm still unable to form words on how greatful I am. This location is by far my favorite in terms of flavor, speed, and of course, their amazing staff. Thank you so much again to everyone that helped us both visits, your kindness will always...

First thing I would like to say is how much I love the food. It's flavorful and tasty unlike a lot of restaurants with a wide variety of flavors to please everyone in the group. Now on to a location specific thing. Thank you so much to the lady who worked there and saw my special needs brother struggling. It's always difficult taking him out to eat, as he often has outbursts and is sometimes unpredictable. Instead of judging from afar or telling us to get him off the floor, she came over with a kind understanding smile. She assured us she understood as she is a mom and offered to help however she could. There was no judgment or anything just a kindness that is often rare to find in a genuine manner. I wish I remembered her name so I could include it here and even give my thanks to her but her kindness really helped the situation and meant a lot to us...
