I often visit this location to browse around and dream about my perfect home and how it would be filled to the brim with everything world market. Today, however, I had the opportunity to take advantage of their cyber monday sale online and did so. One of the items I ordered online was not able to he shipped since it was glass and I was redirected by their site to pick it up in store at the Williamsburg location. When I went to complete my order online, to my dismay, the items were "out of stock" and I was redirected to pick up at Newport News. Sadly, I had wanted 2 of the item in question but Newport News was only showing 1 on hand. So, in order to take advantage of the 40% off $300, I opted for only 1 of the lamps I had been coveting for my new living room set. Trying to investigate my options, I contacted the Newport News location, explained my situation, and asked if they could order the second lamp for me at the discounted price and I could just pick it up when it arrived. This was when I was informed that my lamp was not available at that location either and that there was only a display model left in the store. I was "helped" on the phone by Nanette. As Nanette spoke over me the entire conversation, she explained to me that Williamsburg was showing some in stock at their location. I was also told, by Nanette, that she was going to contact Williamsburg to see if they did, indeed, have the lamps in stock and that she would be calling me back to let me know if I could pick them up there. THREE HOURS LATER Nanette called me back to tell me that they did not have any in stock and that I should probably either just go to Williamsburg to see if they had them or, cancel my order. Again, Nanette spoke over me the entire time and never even answered my original query about being able to order one for me. Luckily for me, I was literally shopping next door to the Williamsburg world market when Nanette called me back. After I completed my shopping, I walked over to the Williamsburg world market location and found the lamp I had wanted on the shelf. I then asked to speak to the manager and, lucky for me, Sierra happend to be working. I spoke to Sierra about my situation and she, so patiently, waited for me to fully explain my situation and was gracious enough to go look in the back for a second lamp.... which she found!!! I was so pleased, not only that they had BOTH lamps I had wanted but that Sierra was gracious enough to listen to me and HEAR my concern. Needless to say, I was given both lamps at the sale price and will be making sure everyone knows what amazing service I have received at the Williamsburg World Market. THANK...

Good sales and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back again. June 30, 2022 - Still great store. Highly recommend December 2022 - Great Christmas items. Lots of candies and gift ideas. Love this store. Wine selection is great. They were busy on a Friday morning but fast checkout. Highly recommend. February 2023 - Still one of my favorite places to shop. Today's purchases were all food and wines. Used my $5 reward towards purchase. Lots of merchandise for Spring and Easter....
Read moreWe always like their products but we inevitably always have a price ring up issue. This time there was a hand written price marking it reduced, but the register only reduced it by half that. We didn't notice until all was paid so we had to go to another register and wait. Then the cashier finally tried to help but took a long time trying to get the register to do it. When it wouldn't shortly, I had to tell her to forget it since I had to get to an appointment. They did try, but they need to pay closer attention...
