CAVA — Restaurant in Williamsburg

Today was not a good experience! There an hour and a half before it closes. The kitchen is still making meat, so you would think there are toppings for the bowls, NOPE!! What's there is there in was told. Hardly anything, the tomatoes and onions, barely any of the salt brined pickles, olives and the pita strips. HUGE disappointment. And the guy running the line, horrible job! Could you move slower. You could have said there was very few toppings available if that was the case and let the customer decide.

In the spring....Very much enjoyed the food! You choose the base of the bowl, grains and/or greens. Choose your Protein. Next you can choose 3 sauces. The extreme feta was delicious as was the red pepper hummus! 😋 The toppings are many: picked tomatoes and cucumbers, reg. Cucmbers, pickled and regular red onion, feta cheese, olives, I think a cabbage slaw. They have various dressings to choose from. The Greek one was amazing. Definitely enjoyed the food. I can't wait to visit again.

I have came to cava and the food is delicious. The service is excellent but only in the morning when there are Hispanics working. Wonderful people. Since the new manager Veronica has been working the restaurant has been a wonderful place to eat. The orders always correct. Digital Orders are on time and nothing is missing. The employees and her always greet you with a smile which light up your day. The employees in the back are great employees even in the condition they work in. I’ve known Veronica since she’s work in Zoeys Kitchen and that woman is amazing in everything. As a prepper, in the grill, in the front line doing orders and in pickup orders. If you ever want good service go when she there. Night Shift is the worst, they always get my orders completely wrong, there is always something missing, and they have horrible, horrible service. If you want to go to cava and get good service, good food and have a great time go in the morning and you will love Veronica and all the Hispanics...

Placed an order through the cava website for delivery, after waiting almost 45 minutes I get the delivery and it’s only half of the order. I called and was told I could come and pick up the rest. I’m a nurse working a 13 hour shift with no way to leave and come and pick up the order I explained this and was just continuously told that was my option. I was then advised they could refund my money for the order I accepted that option so I could order from a different restaurant. I realized I hadn’t received a confirmation code, ect so I call back and the manager isn’t available to speak. I love cava and eat at the other locations ( Norfolk, fairfax and Newport News) often and with no error . Mistakes happen but I was disappointed If delivery is offered and scheduled through the restaurant then there needs to be a plan in place for errors.
