I chose this location because of the high review ratings and went in with the intention of making a sizeable purchase, as I had been researching the product I wanted and its specifications for months.
I had stopped in late one Friday evening as they were closing and asked about ordering the item I wanted. The woman representative said she could order it for me. I told her I would return to make the order.
I returned Monday before noon to place my order. However, the representative who waited on me this time (his name tag was not visible) was not interested in what I was saying, even after I told him I wasn't interested in changing my plan. He was more interested in selling me a new phone, a new plan, and a budget item rather than the high-end item I wanted to purchase. He even tried to sell me a home internet plan even though I told him I wasn't interested because I was visiting.
Finally, I had enough of him trying to up-sell to me. I told him no, that I was done, and I left the location without purchasing anything, even though he tried to persuade me to stay.
This was by far the worst experience I ever had in a Verizon location, and I have been a customer for fourteen years. On the survey I received later in the day, I suggested they train their representatives to listen to the customer and answer questions before trying to up-sell.
I hope this was a learning lesson for an over-eager assertive representative who may have missed out on a guaranteed commission. That is, if they do receive commissions on...

My desktop computer was broken and my Verizon bill was due, so I found myself going into the store, hoping they could help a 77 year old lady pay her bill in time. Thanks to Chris, they did just that. I was quite stressed out for several reasons, but Chris was calm, not in a hurry and very encouraging. His easy-to-follow and step-by-step instructions made the whole process simple for me. I never thought to check my watch, but I doubt the whole transaction took over 15-20 minutes from introductions to successful bill payment. I so very much appreciated Chrisâs attitude. Everything about him said what he said: âIâm here to help you.â There was no talking down to an older personânone of that attitude that is so seniors that seems to say, âyou canât do this; youâre just too old to learn new things.â Thatâs not true, of course, and Chris knew that better than most ITâs Iâve encountered. Chris not only took care of my problem; he left me with a new appreciation of Verizon and the type of people their management seeks and hires.    Read moreI went to the Verizon Wireless Premium Retail store on Richmond Road, in Williamsburg, the week of April 2, 2017. Its located right in front of the Premium Outlet Mall. Madison helped me as I purchased a new IPhone and accessories. She was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and kind! The service I received there was superior! Madison had to order my new phone for me and it was ready the very next day. She called to notify me it was in, immediately. When I went to pick up the new phone, Madison got it all ready and transferred all my apps, etc, from my old phone to the new phone, quickly and pleasantly. The store was out of the correct size tempered glass protector for the phone. I went to another store and bought one, took it back to Madison, and she put it on the new phone for me! I am very appreciative of Madison's assistance in helping me as I purchased my new phone.
