Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in Williamsburg

The women's bathroom was disgusting, toilet was dirty and plugged up, the sit down area did not have a clean table, the floor was sticky; it was gross. Still our daughter wanted a mint cookie milk shake so we go up to the counter and wait. A young man walks out and says "sorry we were playing rock paper scissors to see who would wait on you and I lost"! Then the other young man walks out and asks him if he knows how to make it and the guys jokes back duh, I guess some of this and some of that. Then he goes to get milk and the milk is empty, the other young man says there is some in the back. We wait the guy yells out that he can't find any so the other one walks back to help him find milk and comes back and says they are out of milk. Whoever runs the place should check up the kids working there. Oh, throughout the process once the other you young man came out they kept talking about work and how they should hire so and so and just stuff they shouldn't have been talking about while waiting on customers. Will not be returning and I am glad in the end my daughter did not get her milkshake because the more we looked around the more stuff we saw...

Well this was my first Ben & Jerry's. The web site says experience what made Ben and Jerry's famous. Walked in the store was empty. Look at the wavy Gravy sticker on the table and think cool. Then I look closer and the table is filthy. I notice melted chocolate ice cream with a chocolate chip on the floor. I look closer and the floor is filthy dirt everywhere. Hadn't quite made it to the counter and the clerk welcomes us and ask if I have any questions? He was very pleasant. My first thought is yeah when was the last time this place was cleaned but being that the clerk was pleasant I wasn't going to be rude. Just said no thank you and walked out the door with my family. I will not eat in any establishment that does not clean. That is why I gave this a one star. Went to another Ice Cream establishment. Lots of customers...

We stopped by here at 6:30 pm on a Sunday after dinner to grab a small ice cream dessert. The counter service was good, and the ice cream great as always, but an employee was already cleaning the dining room and stacking chairs on tables 30 mins prior to closing (7 pm on Sundays). With his head down and almost pissed-off-looking movements, he didn't seem to notice/care that there were quite a few people who came in after us, and everyone was standing around eating their ice cream with no place to sit. It was very hot and humid outside, so everyone wanted to stay in while they enjoyed the ice cream.

I get it closing is approaching, but in the summer, and right after prime dinner time, you're probably going to get a rush of customers. The tables should all remain available until closing time for...
