Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Williamsburg

We placed and prepaid (with delivery charge) an order the day before for our daughters 10th birthday. The party had 45 people in attendance that were told we were providing Papa Johns pizza. We selected delivery to the location of the birthday party (6 minutes from the location of the Papa Johns we ordered from) for 10 pizza's at 1:30pm. At 1:35 I got nervous about not having the pizza and called - the system told me my order would be delivered in 888 minutes. I finally got someone to answer at the local shop who instructed me they would get the pizza there in 30 minutes. The party was scheduled to end at the same time the pizza would have arrived. They lady on the phone just said sorry, that we could come pick it up and that they didn't have many drivers. I NEVER received any phone call stating that they could not deliver... Had they called we could have arranged pick up. This was the WORST experience... having 40 hungry people expecting pizza and then having to tell them it wasn't coming was just embarrassing. To make matters worse the way the employee's handled it was terrible. I went back hours after the party to speak with the store and they handed me $4 back for the delivery fee... nothing else was offered to correct the situation... I understand that times are weird right now and that everyone is short handed but there is no excuse for not communicating that you could not fulfill and order that was obviously for a large group of people. I would not recommend ordering from this location if you are depending on them to deliver...

We ordered pizza Sunday for our daughter’s party, 3 came correct as did the order of garlic knots. However, the one pizza for the person paying was wrong - it was missing extra items that cost extra, plus some extra spicy sauce cups on the side. When we called to have the issue corrected, we were offered a replacement pizza or a refund so we took the replacement. It NEVER showed up. What a joke, especially considering how ridiculous the price of pizza has become. I already hate ordering pizza but we did it because the girls were excited about it. Papa John's Pizza I feel has the best ingredients of any chain pizza restaurant!! The sauce, meats, veggies and crust always taste so fresh to me like they were made in store. My favorite thing they make is a Papadina, it's like a pizza they told in half. They have 3 different types they offer but listen carefully, you can custom order one with whatever toppings you like. I have ordered a Italian Sausage, Pepperoni and Ham and a Veggie several times and they are always delicious!!! I haven't had anything from them that I didn't enjoy and wouldn't order...
