Goodman & Sons has been nothing but amazing to my husband and I. My husband bought my engagement ring from another local jewler. It is a gorgeous ring, but we noticed a few months later the big stone was crooked. We brought it to their attention and they said that's just how it is supposed to be. They gave us no help in finding a band that would go well with my ring as it is a double halo and has two bands on each side as well and was hard to find one to match. They basically told us it is a ring you don't get a band with it. For my husbands band they gave him no information on the different types of metals, etc. On my ring at another time, I asked them to clean it and they were giving me a hard time and we just constantly had rude experiences after spending 5,000 + just on my engagement ring. FINALLY we decided to head over to Goodman & Sons to look at wedding bands for me and my husband. They immediately were SO welcoming! They helped us with several options for my band to go with my ring, really worked with me to find what I wanted, helped us stay in our budget, and honestly made really good personal connections with us. We went ahead and purchased my band. We recieved a handwritten note from our jewler after. It was so kind and personal! We then came back and got my husbands band- the person who helped us was so knowledgeable about the different metals and helped us make the best choice for him and his work that he does! We never felt that they were pushy! They gave us great prices and gave us great jewelry!
Another praise- I recently went in to get my rings cleaned. They check to make sure no diamonds are loose. 2 of mine were. They thought when they put it in the cleaner it they would pop out- or at least need to be tightened. I was not going to be going to the jewelers where we recieved our ring from- so I asked if they would fix it if they popped out or tighten them. They told me the price and it was so reasonable! They brought them back for about 10 minutes. The diamonds did pop out. When they came back out the jeweler let me know that they fixed them, cleaned the rings and that it was on them today for my loyalty and trusting in them. Goodman & Sons is truly an amazing place! I will always be using them for my jewelry needs! Recommend them 10/10 for anyone...
Read moreWouldnât recommend ordering something from them. I regret my purchase and the quality of the item was so cheap. I ordered two cremation pendants for my mom and sisters ashes. When I came to pick them up they looked so cheap I almost cried. The sterling silver is scratched and scuffed. This was such a sentimental item and they couldâve cared less that I didnât like them. My mom passed a month ago. They didnât come with funnels to put the ashes in or a chain, I wish I wouldâve known that. Lee said, âyou can find that on Amazonâ. For $300 I feel so ripped off. The women was suppose to call the manufacturer and let me know but never did. The one for my moms ashes didnât unscrew correctly to open and put the ashes in, so they sent it back to the manufacturer. The man(Lee) helping me was just quietly ringing me up and lacked so much empathy. I wish they wouldâve just refunded me but its their policy not to give refunds for orders. I was between clients when I came in so I was in a rush, thankfully I made it back to work in time. When the man helping me was in the back talking to the jeweler in the back, I turned around to get another workers attention to see if I could return them or exchange them because they werenât what I expected. She said in the rudest tone, âisnât Lee helping you?â. I was so shocked by the lack of empathy. Such a waste of $300. I cried the entire way back to work. Iâm so upset and wonât ever purchase something from them again. So disappointed in how it was handled and the lack of...
Read moreI brought in my antique engagement ring and wedding band 13 months ago in order to have them soldered together and also have a minor repair done on my fragile engagement ringâa hairline crack in the under gallery. The first time it was returned to me, the soldering done was completely crooked and I was completely shocked at how bad it looked. They didnât even seem to notice until I pointed it out to two different salespeople there, including the manager. It had to be sent back again to the repair department (which I later learned was not actually on-site at the time) and be fixedâŠagain. I waited quite a while to receive it back seemingly completely fixed. Now, 13 months later (a month after the âwarrantyâ on the repairs and soldering has ended), my ringsâ soldering is completely crooked again and the hairline crack that they âfixedâ looks Iike nothing was ever done. I called to see if they would honor the warranty or provide any sort of refund and they said that âitâs been such a long period of time and rings take quite a beatingâ so being able to address the issues free of charge was not an option. I was disappointed with the initial fixes and honestly, should have been smart enough at that point to take it elsewhere to get the issues addressed, but did not. Iâll blame myself for that, but overall am disappointed that the rings that mean so much to me have been put in such bad condition. I can only hope that the next repair jeweler can redo this solder and...
