All you folks complaining about this Savers - there’s a Goodwill two minutes down the road. Please take your complaints about “high prices” and rude staff down there, where I bet everything is free, including hugs from the staff. That leaves more room and less negative energy for me to find all the hidden treasure at this Savers.
Addendum: This reviewer Ryan captions his photos dishonestly. The photo of no one at the check out is because he took a picture of the self-checkout area. The woman allegedly "ignoring" him on her "cell phone" is actually behind the jewelry counter holding a piece of jewelry that's wrapped in cellophane. You don't check out at the jewelry counter, dude. He previously had a photo of a ratty old couch that he took down but still mentions in his review. As someone who has been looking for a chair for months and stops there twice a week, that couch was never for sale inside the Savers store. Someone probably dropped it off outside the collection center but Savers never attempted to sell it. Why this over the top...
Read morePrices continue to rise at the thirft, I understand that in this economy. However, I feel like, compared to other thrift stores, this one and GW are just so over priced. I still have some amazing finds here. The store is well maintained on every day except Monday due to the high traffic of people. Younger staff are nice while typically some of the older staff are really mean. I prefer to bag all my items after I scanned them so I know how I want to bag them and how many bags I will use. An older lady walked up to me with a very rude tone and told me I needed to pay for the bags, even though I was currently on the bag screen showing I had added 2 bags to my purchase. I told her "oh, I'm sorry, I know" ans pointed at the screen. While bagging my items she continued to stand in my personal space and watch me like a hawk until I finished bagging and...
Read moreAddendum: they are the worst customer service, pricing, items. DONT SHOP HERE! Just checked some of their pricing compared to Walmart. Guess what!? Walmart was cheaper!!
Picture captions: crappy, broken trains (they won't let you return electronics), no one at the registers except a woman on her cell phone ignoring customers. Geez!
They claim to be a "thrift" store, but they're not! They sell used items at almost the same price as new items from Walmart. And the items are often broken, unusable, or just trash. Don't believe me? Look at the photo of one of their chairs.
COME on, if you're a thrift store START being one and stop pretending, and screwing customers over. Want good items? Dollar General, Walmart,...
